This is a really nice spacious relaxing place to sit and eat. We went for the Coffee & baklava and it was just perfect. There's plenty of room, the service was polite and prompt and the atmosphere has the perfect mix of locals, both national and international.
The macchiato was hot and strong, the mint tea was generously flavoured, the walnut baklava was slightly nicer than the pistachio (... but that's just my choice!)
There a nice 'hum' of quiet conversation and looking around, everyone here seems as relaxed as us.

It's a lovely bakery, prices are reasonable, and the cake are all beautiful and delicious!
I tried to give my BF a surprise, since it was his first birthday in other country, and La Brioche didn't let me down????????
Both manager and staff are sooooooo NICE, they explained to me about type, size, color and picture so patient, that's very helpful and welcoming, since my English is so bad????
And the customized fondant cake was so beautiful and delicious, not to mention the cutest exterior I had ever seen ever. The fondant is a little bit sweet, but the texture is good, and the cream seasoned very well. Stuffing and jam are both good, too.
If you are looking for customized cakes, I highly recommend La Brioche, it won't let you down❤
Been coming here for years the cake is so moist and fresh. I stopped going there for a couple years not sure why but I went recently and I know I will be coming back and back again the man that was serving us was very friendly and gave us a slice for free.
I only transported the cake for one block so please don't blame it on me.

It's the second year in a row that I purchased two cakes for my twins in this store. While last year I was very happy (see original review below), this year one of the cakes was a disaster. It was so runny that even the text moved to a side. I only paid attention to whether they spelt the name right and did not notice that the rest was a mess. Problem is that I did not have the option to return it as you do need the cake :-) but surely I'm not going back and you should not either if you don't want to have nasty surprises.

Really nice espresso and amazing croissants. The birthday cake I bought for my son's was delicious. They were really nice to take my order and to accommodate my little ones' needs. I will definitely go back
I ordered a cake 1 month before my daughter's 1st birthday. I payed in total £120 for that and £50 in advance, and I showed the picture how I wanted the cake. The baker promised that he will do the design as I asked. It ended up that the cake came in the last minute, wasn't the size I asked, and there were fingerprints all-over the icing. In the design were some balloons on top, and they were with strong marks of fingerprints too and the balloons were fitted on top of halved transparently straws. Disgusting when I saw the fingerprints of I don't know whom, and I wish their hands were cleaned! It was supposed to look like a rainbow on the side, which you can put a name on it how it looks to you in the picture. So unprofessional!
Looking at the marks so visible, makes me as a customer come out only on 1 conclusion, careless dirty work. A mistake that I won't do again. I will never order in this shop again, and I do not recommend it to no one. ????
The baklava is delicious, as well as the samosas and other pastries. Service was very friendly
Really awful experience. I used this cake shop in the past and the cakes were lovely. I collected a birthday cake today the cake was still frozen. There was barely any cream inside or strawberry jam just a dry sponge. Everyone at the party was disappointed. I went back to the shop to show pictures of the cake and how awful it looked inside I was told because I used a cake nothing can be done! I couldn't just request guests to put the cake back into the box as I will be bringing it back! Complete joke! Then I was offered a 10% discount for my next order. I will be avoiding I was so happy in the past this time ruined my grandmother’s birthday party.
You have to try the Snickers tart, amazing! Everyone's always so friendly when I come in here :)
