I visited for an evening meal with good friends who go to La bottega regularly, and I now understand why.
I was very impressed with everything from friendliness of staff and flavour of my Linguine Polpette (of which I would happily have enjoyed seconds had I been offered), as well as the pizza I tried (delicious salami and soft crusts). All the children in our party loved their food too, and every single plate was cleared. My friends tell me the English Breakfast there is really good too.
The business proudly sports a CASH IS KING notice which also gets my vote. I look forward to returning again when I next get the opportunity as it's well worth venturing the extra mile to get there.
We had pizzas delivered from here and they were excellent! Incredibly thin bases, tasty and sufficient toppings. Would absolutely recommend!
If you’ve never tried La Bottega, Blyth. Then I suggest you do, there food is absolutely phenomenal and tasty and fresh, there Sunday Lunches for sitting in or Takeaway are amazing and the Yorkshire puddings are homemade and huge.
Wonderful . I had lamb Sunday lunch. Totally totally delicious and a generous portion at a very reasonable price.

Hidden gem on our doorstep! Had the lunch paninis chicken Milanese and the spicy special. Absolutely delicious, fresh,authentic and homemade ingredients. Lovely and friendly service and very reasonably priced. Will be back very soon ????
Went this evening with a friend to sit in, very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Food was absolutely outstanding. We had the chicken and peppercorn sauce with homemade chips. A linguine Bolognese. Alongside a cheesy garlic bread and potato skins. Portions were fantastic. And very tasty.
A little gem tucked away on Newsham farm estate. Excellent service and food. Great value for money. Will definitely visit again
