Can't fault it. It was crazy busy when we went. Luckily they had one table inside for us, had we got there a little later it would have been full. We were seen to quickly but it took a while for the food to arrive, but as I said, it was very busy. You can see the kitchen, and you can clearly see the care and attention they put into each dish. I am glad they didn't bring our drinks too soon, nothing worse than a cold coffee by the time your food arrives! Pancakes were delicious, breakfast was lovely, as was the eggs benedict. The changes we asked were done, and any extras we asked for were provided. Prices were reasonable (not cheap) and seem better than other like for like places and items. I would happily come here again on our next visit to Saffron Walden.
We went to saffron Walden for the first time and came across this gem of a place. Had fluffy large pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup.. presentation was lovely and they were absolutely delicious and arrived promptly. Lovely friendly lady that served us. Definitely recommend this for food everything looked amazing.*****
Had a fantastic brunch at la Boîte, there was a great selection of dishes, we had the Eggs Florentine and a Croque Monsieur, they were prepared fresh and quickly, extremely generous portions and they both tasted lovely. The service was great and all of the staff were friendly and polite. I would highly recommend for a great brunch at a good price and will be returning when in the area
Average at best. Flat white was very diluted and the French toast and avo toast was ok. They need to step up to compete with the other local similar places. The seating area inside is nice!

We got there just before closing.
We've been served with no complaints. The dark haired girl was very nice.
We asked for extra sauce on our pancakes. She did that with no problem.
If you are fond of more salty flavours I would suggest onion soup. It is delicious!
Was at La boite today for the first time , we were travelling around Essex and decided to visit this place , very welcoming and friendly staff , food came out really quick, had a Brie and bacon toasty , my husband had a burger, it was outstanding, the burger was juicy and toasty so flavorful we will definitely come back on our next trip.
Great place. Very nice service. You can see that the kitchen chef puts all heart into what we see on the plate. Restaurant manager very nice and friendly. Pancakes taste delicious. The onion sup was served very tastefully. I will definitely visit this place more than once. *****
