Went for a family birthday meal on a weekday evening. Restaurant was less than half full. Service was a little slow but not too bad. Food was fantastic in particular the BBQ platter. Steak cooked to a perfect medium rare and the ribs were the best ive had in a long time. A little pricier than most places but having a meal where everyone came away having enjoyed it was worth it.
We were recommended to go here for our Anniversary meal. Sadly not a great experience. We were sat at a table of 4 (booth) right opposite the kitchen and next to the entrance. The kitchen staff were obviously stressed this evening as staff were in and out every couple of minutes with some sent out for more supplies. Our meal took approx 35 mins to arrive we ordered promptly on arrival. Whilst the meals were filling they were nothing spectacular. I was really disappointed as we had such high hopes and for the price of a two main dishes one side and 2 drinks costing nearly £50 it wasn't worth it. Sadly i won't be recommending this place for an evening meal. However i have been told it is a great venue for lunches...
Lovely food and very nice service
Great restaurant in the middle of Forres. The food was well presented and really tasty. Although the portions were a little small they were good value for money.
Lovely place to sit and eat. Food is brilliant. Think of your mother's finest cooking but better!
