Love coming to this Chinese Takeout. Staff are friendly, and food is always ready for when it says, never early or late. Salt Chilli Chips are just soooo good! Regular here, and I keep coming back because the food is soo good. Recently tried Munchy Box, it's very good, and tasty, perfect for 2 people. Parking outside on the street, so easy to get to.
I placed an order for two persons only, and it took them 2hrs and 14 minutes to deliver the food!!
The order placed at 18:11 and their website confirmed the delivery to be at 19:08…
I called at 19:15, and they said they need another 30 mins..
At 19:55 I called again to follow up and they said it’s on the way with the driver (should be in 5mins).
At 20:15 I called again and they said two minutes will be with you..!
The food finally arrived at 20:24..
The issue is not in the delivery delays, it is with the way that the person who answered the phone kept giving false timings.
The food arrived hot, but we didn’t have the appetite to eat it any more.
Put my order in at 7 for an 8 delivery…..landed at 10:10 burnt, dry, cold and quite frankly inedible. Phoned several times to ask where my order was…excuse so busy will be there soon. Please. Please don’t bother with this takeaway. Honestly - not worth the money of bother. If I’d be allowed to upload a photo of the food I paid for…no me would buy it.
Ordered here twice...First time was an hour late and the second was over 2 hours late ?
Very rude staff on the phone.

Food is pretty good but badly let down by delivery times. Ordered twice recently, half hour late first time, an hour late second time. Just give realistic delivery estimates and it wouldn’t be a problem and you wouldn’t antagonise customers.
The Menu and the contents of certain dishes NEED TO BE HIGHLIGHTED..for example Special Fried rice
I was expecting rice, onion,peas and prawns..BUT NOT PORK
PIG that wasn't what i was expecting or WANTED.
So unless the takeaway actually mentions whats in the contents in there menu.I WILL BE ASKING EXACTLY WHAT THE DISHES CONTAIN..
And PIG will not ever be in my choice.
Food is amazing from here. Lost a star for delivery times but it is worth waiting for. A bit more communication if the order is running late would be appreciated.
This Chinese was the best in north Edinburgh, after Xmas seen it was closed until July , now it’s July a new message has appeared saying closed until November 2030… can the owner explain?
