My eyes were bigger than my belly….staff went above and beyond to create me a box of everything to try. More than enough food for 2 people so I have leftovers for tomorrow.

So....we ordered last Wednesday. We ordered a few things just to try out the new place, we ordered quite early (17.25) to hopefully, all be it a Wednesday, avoid a rush. We were told our food would arrive in 45 minutes to an hour. Our food arrived 2 hours later. We had the chicken shawarma. Which was almost tasteless and cold. We also had the 2 seekhs chicken tikka. Which was again also cold and quite flavourless. Aslo having pizza in the name "Kosta's PIZZA & grill bar" we ordered both a margarita & a garlic bread with their "special sauce" and cheese. I have some doubts about the sauce being "special" as it was far from it. Although it was very cold. You could tell it was just out of the tin stuff, and the pizza on the whole was poor, and there is much better to be had in Worksop. The chips were cold and undercooked like most places around here & we ordered a fudge cake but received some sort of fruit gateaux (they also missed sauces off which we paid for) I feel a little bad for these guys as they were nice on the phone when we called to let them know our order was not right, I.e very cold, missed items, poor pizza etc. It also took way too long. Our food must have been in the bag for around 30 minutes or so, possibly more with how wet & cold it all was. They could only offer us our order free next time. Which I suppose would have to do.. that is why I held my review until now. 5 days later, on a Sunday evening (hoping it was not so busy), we ordered our free order. It arrived hot this time. However, the order was wrong yet again. We received some sort of dry lamb chops as opposed to the seekhs chicken tikka (we did eventually get the correct menu item after another phone call), but it was flavourless yet again. We still never received any sauces to even try to pep it up. The pizza was hot the 2nd time but was kind of like the ones you made at school, quite bland. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place. Much better place's around. Keep looking for the hidden gems. They are out there. I've added a few photos. One of them is the supposed "seekhs chicken tikka," but isn't " looks like lamb. ???? and the soggy bottom pizza seems to be a Worksop thing nowadays. This is my honest and true review. Looking at this place, I was hoping for big things.
Very rude and aggressive staff. Last weekend, I wanted to order food, but I waited for over 15 minutes before someone served me. One of the staff approached me with an attitude and asked what I wanted. I was just shocked and told him not to raise his voice at me, to which he replied that it was his bar and he could do whatever he wanted. I said I didn't want to order anything from them anymore and that I wouldn't come back if he spoke to women like that. He replied that women have no right to speak because they are not men. I've never encountered anything like this in my life. They have no respect for women. I hope this bar goes out of business.
I don't recommend it. I ordered pizza for myself and my children, but unfortunately, it seemed to be not fresh, and the mushrooms and meat tasted strange. We thought it was just the way it was supposed to taste. Later, we felt unwell, and the children had diarrhea. We called the bar to inform them, but the man was very rude and said it wasn't their fault. Never again.
This isn’t a moaning review but merely a notification. So a few days after this new place had opened we ordered pizzas at work and they were perfect. Hand stretched full of taste. Me and my wife very rarely have takeaways but thought we’d have some pizzas tonight and unfortunately we were underwhelmed when we opened the boxes to frozen pizza bases sadly. Please go back to how they were when you first opened up as they were bang on but unfortunately these are just the same as every pizza shop in Worksop. Stand out and do the hand stretched ones you’ll definitely have more custom. Can’t fault the service though and they are tasty just hoped they were as they were few weeks ago. Thank you
I ordered a pizza and shawarma mixed, ordered from just eat and on app it says food arrived enjoy. But the food never turned up and when I rang he told me to either ring just eat for a refund or go and collect it myself ???? shocking service. If I wanted to collect then I wouldn't have ordered through just eat. Never used this place before so I thought I'd give it a try. Never again after this service ????
Phoned to order which was fine. 45 minutes later they phoned my partner. Apparently they got 2 different orders for the same phone number but for different addresses. My partner was telling them our order. They couldn’t understand. I then started to talk and they put the phone down on me. So rude!! Seems like they have issues talking to women. I don’t know how they can mess up orders and have 2 orders for one phone number
The meat is 2nd to none. Best lamb shawarma I’ve ever tasted. I had the beef doner last time I visited aswell and that was very impressive. They also have a nice tandoor-like oven to do fresh bread which I like.
