If you’re in Camden and are into korean food I strongly recommend to try Bun Boy. Located in a great place, very near the igloos to eat in.
There’s not much offer but wow everything is delicious! And for a great price!!!
We tried Spicy Seoul Burger which is chicken tenders with a delicious sauce in the bun burger. And tried also Korean Fried Chicken Tenders which are the tenders, delicious seasoned fries and any sauce you choose.
The fried chicken is absolutely delicious!! Chicken is not dry at all, super crispy! The sauce of the burger is an absolute dream!! How delicious!
A meal like this with one drink is like £20 for two, which is bargain!
Amazing food for great price!!
Outstanding quality, food quantity not like what you think when you hear Korean food. Highly recommended and definitely I will keep come over and over .
Pretty decent burger...
Watching the vendor prepare the burger in such close quarters in Camden Market you can see the care and attention that goes into cooking each component of the burger and it's definitely evidenced in the result.
I went for the Korean burger which is a double smash patty with cheese made "Korean" by being rolled with a kimchi style slaw.
I tend to be wary of Korean fusion food items as it tends to be an excuse to bury mediocre food underneath saccharine sweet sauces or to wantonly add kimchi to dishes where it adds very little. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to see the restraint that was used in this particular case.
Positives - The texture of the burger was great! The bun danced a delicate balance between pillow-like softness whilst still being sturdy, with the toasting adding a wonderfully pleasant crunch to each bite. Burger patties are ideally charred on the grill and oozing glorious amounts of juice. Sauce enough to lubricate each bite but not to soak through the burger. Each piece meticulously crafted.
On the negative side is the taste. With this much care you'd expect a top level flavour sensation and it just isn't present here. The meat doesn't have a great inherent flavour and isn't seasoned remarkably. The sauce adds little too, you know it's there but it doesn't blow you away. The Korean toppings are conspicuous in how inconspicuous they are with each bite.
On the whole at £9.50 without chips it's a fine choice. It's just not top level. When texture and taste match, they'll have a winner...
The Korean Street Burger was the best burger I've ever had! Super delicious, especially with the fries!!! Would recommend to anyone who's visiting the Camden Market. Worth every Penny and I'm definitely going again next time I'm in London.
Move over Bleecker, the Korean street burger here is hands down one of the best burgers in London. Juicy patties, perfectly melted cheese and thick brioche buns with homemade sauces. The chicken tenders were amazing too, high quality and great portion size. Our favourite meal from Camden market. Shout out to AJ and Ria who were friendly, attentive, and left us with a full belly and big smile.
Shyza is the cook there and he is one of the most honest and kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. One of the best burgers I’ve had in all of London let alone in Camden Market would highly recommend for anyone who wants to have an amazing burger.
we ordered a dish which contained fried chicken and salad. We were served the dish without salad, we asked for rice instead and he told us there was none. After a few moments an Indian came and served him rice. Personal racist and to be avoided. I think we supposed to deduct money because the dish lacked salad. don't come to this restaurant there are others that are better nearby.
They gave us a piece of fried chicken to try, and instead of being crispy, was a bit chewy. Flavour wasn't bad but I think maybe the chicken had been done a while ago. So we decided to go for the Korean burger and fries and they were lovely! Loved the burger, I want to have it again!
