Absolutely brilliant. The burger was as good as I've had and the onion rings might have been better! And as for value for money, this meal was just amazing.
I took my father in law for his first visit on Sunday. He had the 3 course Sunday lunch. His words were " best homemade Sunday lunch he's ever had eating out loved it all but especially the homemade Yorkshire Puddin nice and brown on the outside soft on the inside. He would have had two puddings if I wasn't paying !!! Great meal Great service he's coming again ( but he's paying )
A traditional pub is probably the best way to describe this. Nothing to write home about. Sunday roasts are decent but the starters and deserts are basic. I did have some extra seasoning with my dessert (parsley) which ironically although the dessert did need extra flavor but I don't think this was the right one ????
My biggest gripe with this is that the interior is not exactly pristine however dogs aren't allowed in... But kids that throw food all over the place are.
We had Sunday roast 3 course. Everything was so tasty, we ate every bit of it and enjoyed it so much. Will definitely go again. Service was fantastic too.
Enjoyable visit. Staff friendly. For me I would have preferred the batter on the fish a bit crisper
This is our ‘go to place’ for a traditional ‘ home cooked’ meal! Steph and staff always welcoming and food is amazing value and tasty. Fish and chips are the best around for miles. If you have not tried Knotts, you are missing out.
Very unusual place for a bar and restaurant on a converted ferry, but full of character. Excellent Sunday lunch with locally sourced beers (Milestone) and great service. What more could you ask for?
