If you enjoy dirty cups and self service this is the place for you! Come on in and enjoy the budget beans dirty tables lack of communication and lip stained cups, and what kind of cafe doesn’t sell hash browns?? Poor poor service, prison service has better customer service, tiger bread was decent
We thought the bacon and mushrooms were good, much better than Wetherspoons. The staff were pleasant enough. Unfortunately, that's all. The fried bread barely touched the oil, not fried at all. I didn't expect the sausages to be fantastic but were really low quality and had a weird taste. Finally, I get that a lot of builders probably love instant coffee but I didn't love paying £7 for a below average breakfast and then being handed an instant coffee. It isn't hard to get an urn and make filter coffee... in fact, it'll probably save you a lot of faff in the long run. Lots of cobwebs about and the staff weren't wearing hairnets, hats or aprons ????
Been going for years , however its become so Run down, quality of food is poor.staff turn over unreal. Different staff every visit. Won't be going again. Best breakfast is definitely the bobbing apple.
Good value. The bread and butter was like a giants door step. Priced well, good location plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Everything but the sausage was great it's the only thing that let us down, I think a local butcher would be able to provide something worthy of the cafe. Enjoyed the meal otherwise
Food was awful I'm afraid really cheap ingredients made to wait 15 minutes just for my coffee before the food came staff were long faced no enthusiasm whatsoever in there respective roles only 1 lady on the staff was remotely polite no atmosphere in the cafe just very plain basic and sorry to say it but it wouldn't be for me again 1/10 for the whole experience
Such lovely food and so cheap! Everyone was really friendly, definitely would come back again.
You can get a very good breakfast here value for money
A typical old school cafe . Good food . Good service a roaring log burner and plenty of parking ???? very reasonable prices
