This cafe is a gem in Porthmadog, the sandwiches are great, plenty of filling, huge range of food, vegan options are available, the cakes are fantastic. Its a must go place whrn uou get yo Porthmadog in North Wales.
I came in today and bought a prawn bap, and the bap was so watery it was like they had just been out to catch the prawns and not washed them along with loads of black little hairs all over my bap and food, the prawns was that wet it made my bap soggy, I will not be eating your prawns again.
Popped in for a cuppa and something to eat this afternoon and was highly delighted to be served a large pot of tea, a large pot of hot water and a slice of delicious millionaire's shortbread for under seven quid. Service was fast and really friendly and, after twenty minutes sat in the window watching the World go by, I left feeling like a new man. Highly recommended.
Really really pleasant welcome with Jane and Mari, really following government guidelines as well so their safety, our safety was paramount. A fantastic menu of sandwich fillings, and let me tell you they are so fresh, I had Mexican chicken (fresh chicken, onion, peppers and fajita Mayo) and my partner had a bacon baguette and in her words “the best bacon baguette she’s ever had” great work Jane & Mari, thank you for making our visit wonderful x
The cakes were delicious but the latte was ok, we had better.
We try to support local wherever we can and this was the first time we tried Kitty's. We had a mixture of warm and cold baguettes as a family and they were amazing! The staff were really helpful and patient when we were ordering (kids were undecided for a while).
We will be back!!
Visited 29 march 2023, friendly staff, clean restaurant. Nice hot chocolate with cream. Would recommend.
Dropped in on off chance. Friendly service, accomodating with good portions.
Had two beef salad bowls, to eat in and was pleasantly surprised by the selection of items included. Definitely not a typical salad serving, and plenty of well cooked bacon in our daughter's sandwich.
