Services: replacement of starter motor and extra bodywork repairs.
Kirby Motors looked after me when the starter motor failed on our van in bad weather. Markus stayed later than planned to receive it to avoid it needing rescue. Sharon is very organised, friendly and quick to ring and explain the quote and again when the work is done. They communicated the quote and completed the work in the same day, even going the extra mile with some body work. I would whole-heartedly recommend them as a friendly, reliable and professional team that get results. I highly recommend their standard of customer care, communication and mechanical work. I've not found another garage like them.
Used for mot and annual service for a few years now and they have always been great. Good price, mechanics are very friendly and professional. Only recommendation is make sure you book at least two weeks in advance.
Amazing garage, all the people are really nice and helpful! We are the loyal customers for years now and never had any problems. The service is always very good and on time. We can definitely recommend this place for everyone who wants to an easy, not-stressfull fix. 10/10!
Visited Friday with an issue, was told to return when the fault flashed back up on dash and they would quickly plug it in and take a look for me. The following Tuesday I called and was dealt with in a rude way by the owners wife, I tried to explain but she wasn’t interested so I popped in shortly after on my way past to be approached aggressively by the owner accusing me of being rude to his wife and to go away. Will not be using again.
Have used these people for the first time a year and half ago to replace a clutch and then only 2 weeks ago couldn't get the car in gear so brought it back to the garage only to be told it needed a new clutch which we didn't understand as we had one in not that long ago by them at a cost of £470. So we let them do the work a second time round only to find it was a bearing not the clutch which they should have replaced when they put the clutch in the first time round. In the end even after explaining to them this is not right they still charged us another £400 for the bearing and the work which should have been done when they put the original clutch in. Will never be using this garage again or recommending it to anyone.
We made contact to view a car on Sunday afternoon after the dealer said he didn't want time wasters. We advised we were driving from Ipswich & would be there for 2:30 PM, which he said he would be able to make.
We arrived only to find, he was already discussing the car with someone else. When it was implied that he was just opening today for us as we were keen buyers. He said rather rudely, "Its first come first served". This was the only 'conversation' made from the dealer himself.
Leaving us watching someone else take our 'appointment' and then go on to buy the car. We'd driven for over an hour and a half to make the 'appointment' only to be ignored and left deeply disappointed. When he had sold the car he just shouted 'SOLD' to his wife, who then said to us 'sorry it's been sold'.
This dealer has no scruples or regard for genuine clients, getting the deal regardless is all they care about. Shocking service & no apology what so ever.
