Electrical hookups, showers, clean bathrooms, and a washing sink on site! It’s quiet with beautiful views. Sure, there are midges but you’re in the highlands! Just go prepared. The host is very kind and I recommend this spot.
Just the sort of campsite we were looking for. We loved our stay. Friendly, quiet, reasonably priced and absolutely beautiful surroundings. Loved it so much, we are making plans to go back.
It's an OK place. Bit expensive to be fair. We stayed for the night as a stop on our route. It's quite secluded therefore not much wind and full of midges.
My vote is 7 for the great view on Skye and over a very wide range. Spent hours with sitting on this stone!
3 points for camping site and facilities. Very puristic and restrooms are old and very basic but clean!
But the view beats it all. We‘ll come again and perhaps some work is done here.
Real farm spirit. Friendly service, basic facilities, beautiful surroundings. Small walk up the hill gives you a great view of Skye! Pricing is typical for the area, we paid £33 for our motorhome with 2 adults and 2 kids in August (with elec)
We had the most amazing stay at this place we were camping. The showers and toilets are clean and tidy. Lovely walks to Arisaig and round the mountains. Dogs are also welcome here.
Nice and quiet place, surrounded by trees and hills so it is not windy ! Also superb view and good network signal 4G / LTE
Whilst the coastal views from this inland campsite were wonderful and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere in mid May, we felt that £80 for three nights for two of us with a car and small tent was excessive particularly in view of the grubby facilities. It was impossible to comply with the request to mop the shower after use as the mop was old and filthy. We enjoyed unlimited hot water for our first two nights: (one alone and one with another unit) but on the third night, with six of us on site, the supply failed even after reporting the issue to the owner.
We didn’t mind the walk to the off site facilities for water. One should be aware that the lack of pitch marking doesn’t preclude selfish folk from camping/parking in very close proximity.
