Great tasting food, large portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar, which was very cozy.
What a superb venue for lunch. We went there with the family for a Mothers' Day celebration for my wife. Staff service was impeccable. Lots of attention without being too much. The menu was nicely varied with something for everyone, even the veggies. And as for the quality of the food, it was absolutely superb and as good as we have had in any venue. The whole experience was wonderful, and we will certainly be back. The chef must have awards, because the food was innovative and beautifully presented as well as superbly cooked.
Went for a meal with friends. Meal was absolutely delicious. Forgot to take a picture though. Staff are brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. Hotel is on bus route which is handy too.
They now sell food and it's fantastic!
Whether a meal in the bar or restaurant, the presentation, service, value and taste is outstanding.
Manager Caroline, Wendy and the Chef make a fantastic team. So welcoming, chatty, good for a laugh.
Can't recommend the place highly enough for a chilled night out, decent meal and friendly banter!!

Ok so I didn't stay over here just popped in for lunch. After passing it for near 2 years and always proposing to go in, never did until today :-) a very deserving day for us it was and we could not fault the service and the food...jings...spot on and my mum and I are mega fussy and not scared to say if we're not happy! A lovely quaint and nice ambience to this wee bar, i will definitely be back and hopefully via bus so i can make an evening of it and enjoy the 1zt class service, food and ambience of this lovely place x thank you Arlene for making us most welcome and not excluding mum when we talked, meant a lot with her disability ????????
Would not recommend in anyway. Had poo coming out the sink plug hole. Had to wait 1.5 hours for breakfast, chef had no key to the kitchen. Changed room and then had to wait 1 hour for them to sort hot water for a shower. What a joke.
Had a brilliant meal here. Food is very very good and presented beautifully. Very good value for money and the service is excellent. We'll be back!!!
