Great chippy, friendly staff. Home made cheese and onion pie is delicious, fish and chips spot on. All fish freshly made to order. They do Chinese as well, salt and pepper chicken is tasty, and open dinner times. I've been going for years and it's even better with the new owners and added Chinese meals.

Travelling through and called on off chance as quick detour from motorway, we were hungry and queues building on M62! Excellent move!! Food lovely, small fish and chips a good size portion, not left absolutely stuffed like in most other chippy's. Mushy peas and curry sauce great too and all really reasonably priced. We will definitely be doing a quick food stop again when back up north! Thank you ????
Tastiest chippy in the wood, just make sure to check you have everything in your bag before you leave as they've now missed something on two separate occasions and I've had to drive all the way back to get it with original food going cold by the time I get home.

Fried the battered sausage there and then so that was good, lady running the counter was friendly so that was a plus aswell, food was nice so class chippy overall.
Got there just before closing and the lady put in a fresh fish for me. The fish was delicious with a good crispy batter, I think the chips were a little older but as they were closing I can understand this. A good chippie and good service with a smile.
Never been here before even though its a stones throw away from us and heard it was good , had friday night fish & chips last week and now we've found our new go to place for chippy tea ! Great prices ...Nice selection of currys, Try the Irish one mmmm!
