Chips are the absolute best around. Kebabs are very good. Fish is very good,
Saveloys are hard and dry and battered sausages are not crispy (they are soggy) once this improves then 100% spot on. I still don’t go anywhere else

The owners are really hospitable, polite and prepare the food in a speedy fashion whilst maintaining a good level of food standard. Prices are good too.
A local gem of mine, proper chippy chips! Fresh fish and tasty batter, a very nostalgic aroma as soon as you walk in, proper grub, portion sizes and prices are ???????? best in the area without a doubt.
My mum (95) will only have her Haddock and chips from the King Fryer. Tried others but her long years of experience means she insists she prefer their offering. If age brings wisdom then must be good.
