Best KPortal Reviews

Very nice Indian restaurant, locatated just off the city centre. The last tram stop is around 500 yards from the restaurant, so very easy to get too. You need to take your own alcohol as they only serve soft drinks here. There is a good selection or starters and main means to choose from and a small deserts menu. They are child friendly here so a good place to bring all the family.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Edinburgh. You get authentic taste and feel in food here. Usually not crowded but try to book in advance of going for more then 4 ppl. You have lunch menus as well during lunch time to make it easy to order. Drinks you don't have much option but you probably will be chossing the restaurant for food. Table water is good and free.
Hard to fault. Great service, excellent currys and exceptional value. It's not licensed so bring your own booze. No corkage charge either!
Wow! Always good quality and those flavours are wonderful. Now under new management and subtle name change to Kahani (see photo) but food is just as good and staff are still great - why change a winning formula? Loved it!
Despite the rave reviews of this place, I found it nothing special. I had the mango lassi, garlic naan, and lunch chicken tikka masala. The chicken tikka was actually pretty tasteless, which I didn’t know was even possible. The normal prices are pretty high, so I’m glad I went for lunch. The service was slow, and the atmosphere was ok at best. Overall don’t really recommend.
For my partner and I this is the best Indian in town. Food is consistently great and always fast served. Recommend booking a table if going during the weekend, and remember to bring your own booze.
Nice Indian restaurant, very attentive staff, very busy . Recommend to book even if mid week. Enjoyed the starter more than the main course, it's a BYOB , bring your own booze otherwise you can only order alcohol free beverage.
Was recommended to us by our B&B and we were so happy with everything we ordered. Our entire table agreed it was the best Indian we've ever eaten. Maybe the Indian in Australia just isn't up to scratch?!
Every meal had delicately cooked meat and fantastic flavour. Not too rich but balanced.
The decor is very Bollywood, and the din can on occasion make it hard to hear those at your table, but it's encouraging to keep the table lively.
If you're stuck trying to decide what to eat, you will not regret choosing this place. Better book ahead though!
