What a great little gem. The landlord and lady are lovely and took really good care of me, the food was spot on and the atmosphere in the pub with the locals was warm and friendly and welcoming.
The room was clean and light and warm and the bed and pillows were really comfortable.
There is a beautiful park just opposite with a lovely walk around a lake and a great play park for children.
If I needed too, I would definitely stay here again.
(Also, I'm really sorry but I've just noticed I accidentally picked up a coaster from the room when I was picking up my stuff off the dressing table.)
We stayed here for one night and could not find fault with anything. We arrived early and the owner let us park the van in the car park while we walked into town. The owners were really helpful and polite. The bedroom was nice. Lovely comfy bed and soft pillows. The bathroom was a good size. The breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay there again.
This was a lovely surprise! Needing to stay in Newton Abbot for a course I happened to find The Keyberry and booked two nights. |The welcome was friendly and warm. |The room was good, spacious and clean. The mattress was thinner than I’m used to but that’s a personal thing. |The bathroom was huge! Big shower, which I appreciated. |Breakfast was served between 8.30-9.30 which worked for me on both mornings and again the service was super friendly. The food was good too. |Would I stay again? If staying for business absolutely.
Held a training course here , the new management were so helpful and friendly , perfect facilities for meeting with quiet surroundings for the exam at end of session. The room was lovely and warm, light and clean. Refreshments set out for the delegates , we will be back very soon.
This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at, ample room space, cleanest room I have ever encountered, beds are comfortable and the hosts are amazing, you won't get a better all English breakfast anywhere, downstairs bar with pool table and dartboard, very accomodating hotel
We booked to stay for 2 nights, however we only stayed 1 and booked another hotel due to the standards being so bad. The room was filthy, with urine stains and pubic hairs on the toilet, the shower was mouldy and did not drain, the carpet was dirty and had not been vacuumed, the side table was the same and there was dust everywhere. Aside from the cleanliness the bed was uncomfortable, having a open spring mattress where you felt the coils in your back and it being very bouncy. The emergency light in the ceiling has a bright green LED which illuminated the whole room in the dark which was also almost directly above your head, so a good night sleep was impossible too.||When reaching out to Keyberry to discuss I was simply ignored.
Very classic and authentic place. Great neighborhood to just chill and enjoy your time. Your will not see more welcoming landlord anywhere else. Great price. I have stayed twice in this place with my wife and I would pick it every time over other hotels in Newton abbot.
Don't turn up the chance to try out the top notch full English breakfast here, with very comfortable and quiet room included. Awesome place, great friendly atmosphere.
