Be prepared to take out a bank loan to eat from here ham and cheese roll £4.80 for one slice of ham and a tiny bit of cheese a shame because the roll was beautiful just the filling let it down. Also doesn’t hurt for the staff to smile.
Had some amazing cheese straws !!!!! Soooo cheesy. Also the hot pasty was delicious. I will return. Thoroughly recommend.

Expensive rolls and the sausage rolls are full of air and pastry and hardly any meat rather disappointing
Closed before the closing times. Says open on the door with all the staff still there.
Amazing traditional style old bakery.
With just over an hour to close shop, it was disappointing to see the whole counter cleared of options, no bacon left, only three loafs to choose from. Well cooked baked goods and reasonable prices, but make sure to go early and probably not on a Saturday mid morning!
Had bad service on 3 separate occasions. As a large work force we called and pre-ordered bacon rolls 4 days in advance, was told it was fine and when to collect, when i went in to collect i was shouted several times being told 'we shouldn't' be doing this' 'were too busy' i proceeded to apologize and say the ordered was ok'd the previous week and if there was a problem they could have declined. I then called a few months later requesting a large cake order, again when i went in to choose and collect i got the same reaction. Lastly i went in to buy 3 bottles of milk (there were 9 in the fridge) and i was continuously laughed at hysterically asking why i need so much milk, i asked is it not ok to buy 3 bottles, i got told 'we have just had a delivery' i asked again, can i not buy 3 bottles. i got asked what is it for i said its for my work, then the staff member asked the other 'is she allowed to buy 3' to which the response was 'i dunno'. So after being made to feel belittled, embarrassed and quite out of place i put 1 bottle back to then be told 'are you sure, i suppose it doesnt matter once its gone its gone' i said its fine ill go elsewhere to which she said 'thank you'. I would never have minded buying less however the way i was spoken to on every occasion made me feel very uncomfortable.
