Not bad but again not everyone's taste!
I bought wholemeal bread. Was a few days old. The cakes are blend, sweet but not my favourite. I tried several: carrot cake felt as homemade, wrapped in plastic and quite fresh but missing that taste! Chocolate cake was a few days old, wrapped in plastic foil, chocolate tasted poor quality. The lemon tart or something similar looking: good tasting lemon curd but the crumble base was hard as a rock! The buns feel like frozen ones but baked in the shop!
I think I would expect more from a bakery, that's why you go out and buy
Lovely little bakery with great range of pie, pasties and lovely tasting cakes.. I didn't even want yo leave the place was spoilt by choice. Had a nice warm Irish beef stew just what was needed on a fresh day!
Had 2 full breakfasts this morning,
Very poor food quality, bacon was old and dry, felt like its been cooked before Christmas and same with sausage. Coffe disgusting. Sorry, but for a price of £11 I wish

You seriously need to look in your food quality.
Really awful. Last tried them years ago when I had a sausage roll, was horrible with bits of white fat in.
Tried it again recently, got a custard slice. Guy picked it up with his FINGERS, no gloves. The pastry tasted fatty and the custard was thick and gelatinous. I took one bite and binned it.
Great bakery and the staff are really friendly. Everything is made on the premises and has a lovely traditional feel to it. Nothing too fancy just good honest food.
Superb meat and potato and steak and kidney pies.A dozen bought for the freezer cook through beautifully when required. Business run by a genuine owner who deserves local support.
Stopped by chance here.Food was fabulous and fresh and cakes were delicious.My partner recommends the hot Cornish Pasty for me it was ham salad roll.Def call again.
