This is our local kebab shop and chippy, we go most weeks on a Friday. Food is always great, they know our order, we just say hello, how are you and the guys crack on. They are great! Thanks guys.
One of the best kebabs I've had in ages! I don't live in the area, but if I'm back....... I'll definitely use this place again!
On the high street. No dedicated parking. This takeaway offers quite an extensive menu at reasonable prices. Portions are generous. Venue was very clean when we visited. Staff very efficient. Only slight bug bear was my chicken kebab, the presentation was just very messy...Provide less salad/onions and put these in before meat so the kebab can be eaten like a sandwich. Chips were really nice here.

The cod batter is not crispy and the fish is very dry, the chips are under cooked. This was the 3rd time here and we shall not be going back. They used to cook the food as you ordered it, but now its just sitting there already. Very disappointed.
Decent food, strange name which I’m sure is steeped in history. Everything I’ve had here is tasty and mostly cooked fresh while you wait - which isn’t long, even when busy. Try the sauce they put on the kebabs, it’s delicious.
Always good food and its handy they're open at lunch for the odd treat lunch. Been here quite regularly when working late round the corner. Would recommend.
Knocked one star off as not a mask and gloves in sight during the entire pandemic. Understand there are reasons not to wear one, but unlikely for an entire shop of staff.
