We went to see Peter Kay at Leeds First Arena yesterday. But we thought to Kondoo before going there. This was recommended by a friend. We were greeted by a pleasant young lady called Mahine. She was very attentive and polite. The place was spotless. We ordered our usual kebabs. The food was excellent. As a Persian I know a good kebab when I see it. The only downside was we got there just after 4pm and the place was empty. So not much atmosphere. And the other point to remember is that at the moment they don’t serve alcohol because they haven’t got a license. But apparently they are happy for you to take your own.
One of the best Persian food i have had from this. Best in leeds. Excellent customer service with a top environment. The food was spot on and the sheesha bar is also amazing to have tea and watch the belly dancer entertainment.
First time here and it won’t be the last. Excellent service and delicious food in clean, spacious and tastefully decorated restaurant. They have a shisha / dessert place only separated by glass and a door but one doesn’t intrude on the other thanks to fully tinted glass and excellent soundproofing. You need to order and pay for dessert / tea next door but they will bring it into the restaurant part for you.
It is a really good place to experience authentic persian food of the grill variety. Service is good and staff friendly.
The biggest drawback is that despite spending lots of money on furniture and decor, it feels a little sterilised and characterless. Tables are round and just enough for 2 people, so sitting 4 people at a table is a tight squeeze that reduces the level of comfort and overall enjoyment. Linking round tables for larger parties is also totally impractical.
The management should improve the decor, break up the space with plants and other simple interior decor, and definitely change the tables for larger square tables. Then the place would get a 4 or even a 5.
But from purely food point of view, good grill Persian food, and great overall experience and value.
Hands down one of the best Shisha Lounges up north (defo top 5) - Elegantly designed interior, cozy & classy atmosphere.
The service was on another level - What an amazing & professional team - Genuinely welcoming.????????

The best lounge in Leeds to chill, great vibes comfortable seating and decent shisha. Persian tea is a must try, lastly, i must say exceptional customer service!
Looks fantastic from outside, I believe owner is the guy with long hire and he is the one with attitude problems. I was told about not going to this place for shisha and belly dancing. Shisha was definitely over priced amd there is a minimum charge to get a seating .and as for belly dance it was absolutely shocking best way to describe it was a scam, dancer look horrible and the only went to table with young lads and demanded money for dance.
This place is definitely not suitable for family as the are serving alcohol under table amd the having got license for.
I was told by friends there are people in this business who sell drugs amd cigarettes to under age kids under age .
Owner has no shame and run a scame operation.
Newley Opened Shisha cafe in Leeds , Very spacious, Staff is very friendly and Shisha is amazing I would definitely Recommend it to all Shisha lovers out in Leeds . Best part is you can request your favourite songs ???? I am in love with their Persian Tea Would definitely visit again .
