First time trying this little delight in Musselburgh as it was recommended to my partner for serving Turkish Breakfasts. Staff were so friendly, everything is spotless and we were so surprised at the presentation. Great food, great quality, reasonably priced will definately be back! Thanks so much.
2nd visit- Thur 1:30pm. Was a full cafe but snagged a table. Service was fast for the place being so busy. This meant that it was really noisy-not a complaint, more a not for those sensitive/hard of hearing. 3 types of home made soup. Had chicken & veg which was hot, not overly salty & delvious. Felt almost healing to have this. Didn’t care for white toast. Expected crusty bread.
A take away maypole, pecan brownie had a good crust, very “raw” in the gooey way. Delicious warm.
As a note this is now my go to despite if my reason for Musselburgh visit is not close by and coming from out of town.
Visited on a Tue 1:30pm & stayed for 2 hrs. During this time there was a steady flow of sit in & take away customers. Staff helped with my companions walker frame & were prompt, polite & patient.
Mix of Greek food & British. ALL day breakfast. Everything is fresh. The chef even came out & spoke to each table to make sure all was satisfactory but we were never pushed or hurried away.
Falafel burger was so cool I spy on the outside but moist inside. Brioche bun & a variety of fillings, small chips made this a satisfactory belly filler.
A Halloumi salad was an even sized cut of flavours, balsamic, pomegranate seeds & Chai seeds. Side order of chips was a big bowl of crispy & hot skinny fries.
Teapot of tea & coffee.
A little more on the upper price side but considering the freshness, ingredients & overall service-Muss L burg h needs more places like this.
Good drinks and cake selection. Already planned my order for my next visit.
There are two high steps in & tables are tight for those in a wheelchair or with a buggy.
Been in here a couple of times, better half had poached eggs, avocado and bacon on sourdough bread, big thumbs up.
I had the Turkish Breakfast rather than the Full Breakfast and it was superb.
Lovely staff , great food.
Love all the foood here , that’s why I keep introducing my frd and family to come visit this cafe again and again ????. Lots of my asian friends also love this place and the food as well

And The one I ordered today is the small breakfast and a breakfast tea, the portion is very suitable for most of the Asian girl . Highly recommend anyone come having a meal ????????
The only thing I had trouble with was deciding what delicious item to order of the menu.
Presentation and quality of the dish I had was spot on.
Friendly service, nice atmosphere and so many tasty goodies. I had a healthish option but I had to fight the urge to take home one of the gorgeous looking baclavas..... Not to be confused with balaclavas, they are not available in this cafe.

I had a breakfast roll with a pot of Tea, my Friend had a couple of coffees.
We sat at the Table for a couple of hours just chatting.
The Cafe was busy at times & at no time did we feel like we should go until ready ( some places may hint we were sitting too long).
The staff were very attentive & polite.
The staff brought our coffee etc to the table, service was quick.
This Cafe was also very clean & efficient, I will definitely return & recommend this place ????

Lovely ciabatta roll and a generous amount of bacon-cooked just as I’d asked.
