Has been taken over by the original kaben team great food. The restaurant has undergone a massive renovation and looks visually stunning matched by great food and friendly staff. Excellent food great atmosphere very busy at peak times reservations would be advised.
This place has now changed its name to Blue Ball the name of the pub it used to be before it became a restaurant.
It's been refurbished and looks very smart inside, staff are friendly and helpful. There are nice touched like free coffee with a meal. Although they charge for poppadoms which other place provide free so it balances out.
Menu has a good choice and helpings are adequate.
Toilets are clean but tiny!
Went today for first time for my moms birthday and can't fault it. Wide choice on menu, including Monkfish amongst its many fish curry dishes.
Staff were extremely attentive and up for a laugh and joke. We were made to feel very welcome. The prices must be amongst the cheapest around and there is definitely no scrimp on quality. I am puzzled at some of the negative comments I have read, most of them seem to be on take aways. Firstly I learned years ago, if you order a take away from ANYWHERE on a Friday or Saturday be prepared for a long wait and don't expect too much on quality, as the delivery drivers quite often take various at the same time trying to keep up with demand. My advise during busy periods, if you want a Take Away and expect quality, Go and get it. I for one will definitely be back to Kaben again soon.

Ordered a meal for delivery based upon web reviews and a big banner on the restaurant stating it has won a award. The chef who won that must have left. Food came, absolutely horrendous. Very disappointed. Lamb somosa was something so heavily spiced with cumin the lamb was actually yellow and had no taste at all and was the same size as something you would get from a frozen buffet pack from a supermarket. Prawn curry had 2/3 prawns, chips looked like the microwave type and were horrible. Food was cold and the salad arrived wrapped in cling film. Horrible, will never order again and will advise people not to. Tried to speak to management but not interested. My advice, try elsewhere. Actually, really, go elsewhere.
Went there for my birthday. Lovely food and staff, despite the restaurant being very busy (I would recommend booking on Friday and Saturday nights). No complaints at all :)
The food here is very good and very popular. No alcohol licence but you can bring your own they pricier the glasses. Very friendly and they will accommodate every palate
Didnt have a booking thwy found us a nice table even tjough thwy were busy food good a gr8 price really pleased we went will go back ????
