Ka Ka Lok is seriously the best Chinese restaurant in Glasgow! The food tastes so good and fresh, you'll love every bite. The service is on point, they really know how to treat their customers right. Plus, they hook you up with free soup or prawn crackers to kick off your meal, and there's a sweet fruit treat waiting for you at the end. It's a must-try for everyone! ????????????????
Pretty authentic Cantonese food for a Cantonese myself. Surprisingly the staffs speak Cantonese! Almost cry while having stir-fry beef rice noodle, as I haven't visited Canton for 3+ years due to covid 19. Ordered classic roasted duck and white cut chicken. They were pretty decent. The soup (no MSG!!) before main courses and the sweet soup after were on the house, and quite properly cook!
Went to order and pick up at the restaurant, ordered half roast aromatic duck but when I got home found a pack of dry shredded duck, not Crispy or warm or juicy, just shredded dry duck, very disappointed after reading the reviews.
Very delicious food in Glasgow, I highly recommend. Always come here whenever we visit. Never has disappointed us. Lovely kind staffs.Just a reminder before going,remember to make a reservation before hand for a table as it can get really busy sometimes.
I made a dinner reservation for 6 pm on a Saturday evening for three people. We had a lovely corner table with nice barrier screens. Ordered honey chicken wings, salt and chilli squid, soup and soft shell crab for starters. It arrived quickly and portions were very generous. Mains were sizzling pan fried Seanad, king po king prawn and sweet and sour king prawn with a side of noodles. King Prawns were humongous and very tasty in a crisp batter. Couldn’t finish everything and a doggy bag to go was no problem. Waiter offered some fresh orange segments as a freebie at the end. Even they were delicious. Just had tap water with the meal, £62 in total which included a cash discount. Definitely recommend Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Came all the way from London to eat at Kaka Lok! Delicious!!! Initially alarmed by the price but the food came in good portions, had amazing taste and spectacular service! Even had some complimentary slices of oranges! Would definitely recommend!
Been here for dinner quite a few times, each time the food is delicious and service is great! The seating is a bit tight, but overall everything is great! I would recommend Ka Ka Lok to people looking to have a Chinese in Glasgow.
