Best KPortal Reviews
What a lovely surprise!! I read good reviews and I love Korean food so this had been in my bucket list for a while. I expected to like it considering how much I like Korean food but I absolutely loved it. The food was way better than I was expecting. Fried chicken was crispy and I loved the fact you could taste the gochujang in the sweet and spicy one. It was cold and I needed something warm so I had the dak galbi soup and it was so comforting!!! The meat and the broth were delicious, now I crave this every time I want soup! My boyfriend had the spicy grilled chicken with cheese and it was amazing. We also tried the jkangjangmyeon
and it's one of my favorites I ever had. The chefs were Korean and a Korean woman came out of the kitchen and she smiled at us and thanked us, I wonder if she was the owner, but she was lovely. A new favorite place! The restaurant itself is downstairs not much space. Upstairs they have some take away and fast items like Korean fried chicken and bentos for a really good price and some space.
Me and my friend went and just had the vegetarian hot pot to share, the staff is very nice and helpful and accommodating to vegetarian requests.
They had a fixed lunch section upstairs and then a cozy restaurant atmosphere downstairs, I recommend if you’re looking for well priced, good quality korean food!
해물 순두부찌개에 해물, 심지어 계란 하나도 안들어가 있음. 순두부는 자잘한 부분만 들어있고 LA갈비 너무 질김
Don’t normally leave any reviews but this place was really disappointing. I came here around 1pm and there were only 3-4 tables booked downstairs during that time but I had to wait for 30mins just to have this soft tofu stew and LA Galbi
It was supposed to be ‘Seafood’ Soft tofu stew but there was no seafood inside at all or even egg. The Tofu wasn’t even big they just looked like they had been chopped into small pieces no idea why. LA Galbi was super tough
I have been to many Korean restaurants in London but this restaurant was the worst

Gamja-tang for 4 people / 2 people
Price: £35 / £25
*With Kimchi pancake + 2 side dishes
Great value of money ????
We had their Gamja tang which is a pork bone stew - the broth was so tasty and rich, and the pork was so tender. This is a promotional dish which also comes with kimchi pancakes, side dish of beansprouts and kimchi radish.
We then added ramen in the broth which just hit the spot. We ended with having rice being fried with the broth until the base is crispy. Washed it down with yuzu soju.
What a bliss. Shared it amongst 4 people. So filling and satisfying.
The staff was absolutely lovely especially the man behind the counter upstairs however I ordered a chilli chicken bento & the chicken has left me with a belly ache and nausea. It was rubbery and grey, I had bought it as takeaway that’s why could not go back to return it however it was inedible. Quite disgusted.
It is a very great atmosphere for fans of K-pop and Korean culture. A great place for a good meal. Very tasty food, K-pop music is playing in the background, the waiters are very nice and helpful. There are kpop idol's paintings, portraits, etc. I really liked it! I'm definitely coming back!
Best Korean food I’ve ever had, everything was fresh and tasty
