Tragedy waiting to happen with how this fleet of vehicles drive. Very unsafe HGVs, flying around country corners veering over the lines in to head on traffic at a speed. Cutting off at roundabouts.
They're always up and down B4270 and A48 driving dangerously. Be ware.
They continue to put peoples lives at risk!
All drivers drive like maniacs and they should lose their CPCs (management included). I have had a number of close collisions with a number of their drivers on A48 and B4270 where one of their lorries has already overturned. At some point someone will lose their lives. Alun Cairns MP has been informed.
I have a very near death experience near llantwit Major on the pentre cwrt roundabout where I was nearly taken out by one of their lorries travelling in the direction from Bridgend to Barry. I was in front of him, slowed at the roundabout as I saw a car coming out from pentre cwrt, he didn’t slow down until he slammed his anchors on and missed me by about a cm!!!!
Even the car on the roundabout thought he was going to hit him too…..
These drivers are dangerous…….. need taking off the road
Had the displeasure of meeting one of the drivers this morning. KCS 53 Articulated truck. Flashed and gesticulated at me as we approached road works just outside Barry. I went to ask what the problem was and he berated me for slowing down too early before the traffic lights which had literally JUST turned red. I pointed out that he needed to be more aware of his surroundings when driving as he had pulled out in front of me as he joined the main road from Aberthaw causing me to slow to a crawl as he slowly gathered speed. Thank you driver, you have just reinforced my belief that the majority of KCS Artic drivers should not hold their licence, they have little if any regard for other road users, speed limits or laws relatiing to the use of mobile phones whilst driving.
Looking at the other reviews this is a recurring theme. Dangerous drivers. 2 KCS lorries on the same road driving in the middle of the road to stop other vehicles passing. Disgusting and very very dangerous!!!!
Worked for these for 2months, good wage at first, hours are long but manageable. Then wages started being paid short every week. Whe I said about it I was told 'I only pay per job not per hour'.
That meant working for free.
Even thou my contract clearly stated per hour.
If they paid right it would be a hard company to get into work for. Has I dont think anyone would leave.
Disgraceful company, want you to go through villages beyond the speed limit. As long as you have a scania that is not legally speed restricted. Stay away from these, I have opened a court case now. Please drive for someone else as you will be pushed beyond your limit. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Worked there for just over 4 years in general all good,trucks and trailers well maintained directors of company approachable at any time
