Very nice food. Has nice flavour, doesn't just taste like meat. I've tried a few American style BBQS, this place is best so far. There were 7 of us, everyone enjoyed the food. We had the platters. Portions were just right. Not overpriced like other places I've been too. The service was excellent. The Owner is very welcoming and friendly. The only thing I would say is, I hope they can increase the seating capacity. Highly recommend it. Will definitely be back soon. Must try the burgers on next visit. Keep up the good work!
15 out of 10. Exceptional food and service. The homemade garlic sauce for the wings is one of the best I've ever tasted. Quality of the meat was incredible and the prices were so reasonable I actually thought there was a mistake on the bill. Thanks so much, will be returning asap!
Update, revisited this place and it gets better every time you go. Exceptional food, exceptionally quick service and delicious pastrami burger. Thanks guys. 20/10
Food looked the business but the temperature on the meats was not hot enough to enjoy it more. Could be that I went bit later on the day closer to their closing time and meant that the food wasn't cooked fresh from the pit. Food was served with lightning speed and that kind of set the expectation food may not be freshly cooked. The loaded burger which consisted of most meat cuts in it was lovely. The fries are really nice. It's a small homely place with limited free parking which I need to drive upto local side roads and locate. If I was to visit again I would go for the loaded burger meal and not the platter again which was unfortunately a little dry and cold for my liking.
I have been waiting to try this place for a long time and finally had the time to make the trip.
So, the order. I wanted treat myself and sample as much of the meat as I could and so ordered the burnt ends, cheeseburger, rib burger, sausage, accompanied with chips, coleslaw, additional gherkins, jalapenos, barbecue, and mustard (I did over do it ????).
The place was setup nicely in a good truck the service was efficient and friendly, I ordered on the phone for collection and everything was ready when I got there.
When I got home (I live 40 mins away) after a quick reheat it was all ready. Starting with the burnt ends the meat was super soft and melted in the mouth. The taste was sweet and went really well with the tangy mustard. The sausage was smoked well and had a slightly spicy flavour that was perfect no sauce needed.
The burgers, firstly the cheese burger overall it was nice it had cheese, gherkins and juicy burger that in my opinion could have more flavour, but that's my personal preference. The rib burger was amazingly indulgent, soft meat that was so moreish, again the flavour complemented by the sauces and chillis well worth a try.
Overall, this place is a must and definitely worth the trip. The overall portion sizes are substantial and these guys definitely know what they are doing.
Excellent food and outstanding service. Delicious soft tender meats with lovely smokey flavour. I travelled 45 minutes to get there but it was definitely worth it. Thank you to the very kind brothers running this restaurant.
Really love this place! We don’t have a BBQ spot like this anywhere in North London / Waltham Cross area - it’s a real gem! Some amazing flavours they’ve got going on there. Everything literally tastes as good as it looks. If you LOVE meat fresh off the grill, you’ll love it here!
The staff are always nice and hospitable. The seating area and toilets are always clean, the music is nice and lively, a huge plus. No complaints to be honest. Worth every penny!
Strange one this. I had burnt ends and slaw. The first few bites of the burnt ends were phenomenal and then after a few mouthfuls the meat left a slightly weird stale taste lingering in the mouth.
Superbly priced platter, with plenty of different meats to choose from!
