We have no words!!! My husband can't move and I am just smiling. In my childhood this was our treat in the way home from the beach but living in London, this is still my treat....lush, large portions, friendly, clean, tasty! The best fish and chips in the UK as far as I am concerned. Tucked away in the back streets of Oystermouth...take the time to seek it out.
Visited on a wet Friday for some lunchtime fish and chips. Staggered to find that in this day and age, this is a CASH ONLY establishment - clearly contactless hasn't reached Mumbles yet...... They have an ATM but it was out of order!
We were going to order fish and chips, but ended up only getting chips. Portions were huge, far too big- we only ate about half throwing the rest away. Reasonable quality.
Overall disappointing, especially the insistence on cash only.
Top drawer! This is an excellent fish and chip shop, quality batter, fresh succulent fish, the scampi was pretty good too.
Cooked to order, and a great welcoming atmosphere from the regulars stopping by as well.
It's cash only, (there's a cash machine inside) but don't let that deter you. This is a proper fish and chip shop with all the classics that you don't get from the imitators.
If you're making a journey and your nearby, plan a stop. You won't regret it.
Best fish and chips ever had. Travel ten miles by 2 buses every week. Amazing food, staff are always friendly and very polite. ALL FOOD COOKED FRESH TO OEDER SO EXPECT A 20/30 MINUTE WAIT FOR YOUR FOOD TO BE COOKED.
Best fish & chips in Wales, let alone in just Mumbles ... Super friendly staff ... Thanks to the chef for making me a hand made pea fritter too ! ... Chip portions are huge and the curry sauce was fantastic ... Perfectly cooked cod ... :)

Great customer service and huge portions. The staff were super friendly, we're from out of town and needed a couple items explained to us. We had more chips than we could eat but everything tasted delicious. Well be back!
Stumbled across this very tasty gem today, very friendly service, amazing value and very tasty! Will return when I visit the area again.
