Just bought a car off John. He prepared the car, serviced and identified/corrected some issues prior to me picking the car up. He took all the worry out of buying a second hand car, very friendly and I would throughly recommend getting a car off him.

John Taylor cars is excellent. I bought an Audi S3 Sportback recently and I'm very happy with it. John was very honest throughout the whole process and I was very impressed with the friendly service without any pushy sales techniques. The few minor issues the car had were sorted out as promised and as part of the deal the wheels were professionally refurbished in my choice of colour and now look brand new and amazing.
John also offered a better trade in price than other garages but advised me to sell my previous car privately as I would get more money. This was true as I got the asking price within 48 hours. (cheers John, good advice)
Overall everything was spot on. The premises are very clean and tidy, the cars are very well presented and John's assistant Norbert was extremely friendly and helpful too. I would highly recommend John Taylor cars and I will certainly be using them again in the future. Cheers John, big thumbs up from Simon and Kirsty.

What can I say about John Taylor cars apart from faultless, professional and all out lovely genuine guy. Went there this Sunday just to have a look because he has great cars in. Now I’m the proud owner of an amazing A4 s-line. Everything was explain to the last detail, picked it up today it was detailed to the highest standard. Drives like a brand new car. Like to thank John for the best service I’ve had when buying a car. If you need a new car use this guy you will not be disappointed.
Excellent. Without warning, John obliged me to sort out an undertray on my car which had let go on the nearby M6 in the middle of a long journey for me. It was clear that he and his business have excellent values and he really looked after the problem very well for me and did it immediately. This will surely reflect well on the way the business sells and maintains cars I am sure.... Thanks John!
I would highly recommended buying a car from John, for starters he’s a genuine guy who wants you to have a car that you can drive around and enjoy with a smile on your face. John also has excellent after sales care, he cares for his business’s reputation immensely, and wants to sell you a car in your price range which is a perfect fit for you.
It’s a bit long, but here’s a recap of my experience with John and John Taylor Cars...
I went to John’s shop looking for a new car for myself remembering from previous car hunts the the quality of his cars were very high and affordable.
There were a few cars which stood out but one that caught my eye, it was a Ford Focus Titanium. He offered for me to take it out on a test drive, we were expecting John to come out with us like most salesmen, but he insisted that my mum and I took it out just the two of us. I knew I wanted this car less than a minute into the journey. It drove smoothly and was decked out with a high spec; keyless start, Bluetooth radio system, cruise control and the list went on.
However I had my old car to sort out first so was questioning when I would be able to buy it. I got back to the shop with a smile from ear to ear and explained to John about my car I wanted to sell. We went to his office and discussed trading it in, he gave me such a fair offer for this car and by the time I knew it I had just bought this beautiful Ford Focus.
A few days later I went to collect the car and on the way home, out of the blue it started to overheat and stopped working. For a second I thought I had bought a duff car. I rang John immediately and explained the situation and by that evening we had it back at his shop. I received a call the next morning explaining he had found the belt and a piece of shrapnel from a spring which I had run over whilst driving through Kendal. He sorted it and I was driving it the next day. Although it must have done more damage than we saw and I had a few warning light come up. I got back in touch with John and he booked it into the local Ford garage to get looked at. I have now had the car back a week and it is running smoothly once again. Luckily John had mentioned getting an Auto-guard Warranty when I was buying the car so that saved me from having a big bill!
Also, I know that if I needed anything ever again regarding this car or anything else I could give him a call and he’d be there for me.

Bought my car from here a while back John and his guys were very helpful. I had a couple of issues after a couple of weeks and they sorted it all out immediately. Would definitely buy from them again!
Excellent service and the most helpful honest people in the motor trade that I have ever met to date. Miles is an exceptional sales man. He is easy to approach very helpful and polite as well as honest. John is a cracking guy. Very straight and trustworthy. I bought a nice Audi from them and all the trimmings that came with it made the whole experience an enjoyable one. We all know buying a car is stressful but not when you visit John at his new pitch in Galgate. Thanks for all the time and knowledge from you both. Highly recommend a visit to John Taylor's if your looking for a new car.
