I recently visited the garage to have a new door installed on my car. The staff were really helpful, and booked me in at short notice. The new door was fitted within a few hours, and the garage called me to let me know it was ready to pick up. After the installation, I noticed an issue with the speaker in the new door, and the garage replaced it with the functioning speaker from the old door free of charge. They also placed the useful spare parts in my boot for use in the future, if I ever encounter a problem.
I had some trouble finding a garage that would fit parts I had sourced myself. My car is a Japanese import so parts are not easy to get. John Pye were more than happy to fit the parts at a very competitive price and didn't charge extra when the job turned out to be more difficult than expected and took longer. Overall I saved about £100 over what Kwikfit quoted me by sourcing the parts and using John Pye, definitely recommended.
I've taken my car to this garage for 5 years now, glad to say it's a safe and reliable way of getting your car serviced mot'd or generally fixed... no unnecessary up selling of parts or other stuff. A definite find...keep up the good work chaps ..!
Been trying to call them for 3 days - "Your call is very important to us - please wait for the next available agent". No answer even after waiting for 5 minutes just getting this message.
Here I am at 11pm having left my Renault van for a replacement clutch at 8:30 pm this morning with no contact, no update, no way of talking to anyone, answer machine full, cuts off, been calling since 5 pm. Before they closed.
Awful lack of communication.
I won't sleep tonight... What the hell is going on?
I use this garage regularly and they are always willing to listen and sort out your problems, they are very competitive on tyres, and the skill base of this garage is amazing, their “can do” attitude from all of the JPM team is a very refreshing change from the usual diagnostic machine mechanics of today, who don’t have the skills or the mechanical knowledge to solve problems logically
John Pye Motors have the people to do what lots of local garages fail to do, I’ve been very impressed with them over the years, and more recently when I’ve had quite number of my own cars into them so they can repair and restore them back into life, and I’ve always been delighted with the results, and the costs are less than you’d expect, they are very fair.
Their service is top of the scale and some. The staff bend over backwards to sort you out,Their customer service 10/10. Work ethic is top notch.
