I had a consistent slow coolant leak on my Vauxhall Vivaro campervan. After having it all day, my local main dealer advised me that the cooling system was holding pressure OK, and there were no detectable leaks. Baffled, I then took it to John Boyd, and within an hour they confirmed that it was losing pressure, and that the leak was clearly visible from the EGR cooler!
Unfortunately there were no new replacements available anywhere, but I was lucky enough to find a breaker's yard with a used one from a two year old vehicle with only 16k miles on the clock. John and his team fitted it and I was back on the road within a few days.
It makes a refreshing change to find an honest and reliable garage these days - I'll certainly be returning there for any future repairs and servicing.
I have used John Boyd garage for the past 17 years. Service and MOT prep. Minor or major defects. Must have gone through dozen of units between myself and my better half. All of them were looked after John Boyd and his team. Staff are super professional and friendly. Especially Michael Kojalowicz, he always goes the extra mile. Would recommend to anyone.

I make a 50 mile round trip to John Boyd when my car needs servicing. If that's not a strong enough recommendation, I don't know what is.
Fantastic garage, walking distance from my home, which is very handy. When i called to make an appointment for a service i only had to wait 2 days before they could fit me in. When i used to call Mitsubishi you were looking at a 3 week wait at least. The car goes like a rocket now. Thank you so much. You have gained yourselves another happy customer from Chalgrove Meadow!
First time I've taken 2 of our work vans to JBM, I'll be going back. They sorted a problem on a van in 10 minutes that 2 others hadn't been able to.
