Off the beaten path used by the local typical English breakfast nosh... WiFi.. coffee no too good... Warm and cozy.. Put together with bits and bobs not expensive good service :)
The staff stood looking at me the entire time. Weird.
I ordered vegetable soup. Horrible. Inedible.
So much salt; I could see the undisolved stock cube pieces forming lumps in the broth that had been whizzed through a blender.
I have never had cream of vegetable soup.
I got through about two tablespoons and desperately tried to find some place to empty the bowl so as not to insult the cook.
Anywhere else I would have asked for a refund.
Some very annoying and grubby regular customers.

Absolutely crack little cafe! Poached eggs on toast just perfect. I would say though from my point of view as I love my coffee! The coffee could be better as it's a little weak with no taste some Italian coffee would be perfect! But overall don't be put off by this place food is very good and great prices.
Early Sunday morning, warm welcome, nice atmosphere, plenty of choice of food in small or large sizes of serving. We had the small breakfast and were full for the day. Great value and lovely people.
Great little cafe. Even the small breakfast is big! And the prices are excellent. Like sitting in your Mum's kitchen with the banter going on around you. Thoroughly recommended.

Just wanted breakfast and that's what we had egg bacon sausage beans hash browns black pudding toast and tea. This is a cheap and cheerful place frequented by many locals.
