Jackets are always lovely but the cheese portion is defo less compared to before. Always had cheese and beans but it’s non existent
Was in the area and noticed this place as I was riding past. Located by the Asda and the new Primark. I think these guys have been here for many years and the amount of people coming here for lunch is testament to how lovely the food is when you have so many eateries around Ventura park. 3 garden benches next to the van that can be used. Sadly wet today after last nights rain. Portion sizes are great and the food is delicious. Prices are reasonable considering where you are and the competition of bigger name brands ( McDonald's kfc etc )
Very unhappy with our jacket potatoes earlier, had one with chilli con carne and cheese- the mince was so fatty it wasn't even chewable I couldnt even cut it with a sharp knife just pure gristle, and it didnt even taste like chilli and was full of water or oil my tray was full with it. The one with beans and cheese, the beans were watery and unseasoned and I found a suspicious hair on my food too. Was so sad as we were really looking forward to it. The staff serving us were friendly though no complaints there.
I had jacket potato cheese and chilli, was in the que for around 2 mins which was perfect. Chilli was home made and very tasty, unfortunately the jacket potato wasn’t fully cooked, maybe because it was 10:15 in morning but surely server should of been able to tell a uncooked spud when cutting it open
Best Jacket potatoes we have ever tried must admit that these beat the Spud Man hands down.

Avoid if you like well done bacon! Been a couple of times now and asked the lady for well done bacon..both times I have opened my sandwich and have been oinked at! Maybe my perception of well done bacon is different to her's,but to me that bacon was far from well done! I won't be wasting my money here again!
