Had to ask 3 times for a jug of tap water. Rather lengthy wait for one garlic bread as a starter. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff though, made me feel welcomed as a diner. The steak was ordered medium and was more medium-well, and a little to thin for my liking. The flavour however was very nice, thanks to the garlic butter. The sides were a little lacking. Not a mushroom or onion ring in sight. Chips very nice though, just more of them please! Overall easy to recommend. Just don’t order carbonara as it is more a Mac ‘n Cheese and looked fresh out of the microwave.

The "Italian steak" was very well flavoured but very tough. It is a very tough rump. The rest of the food was superb. The Groupon offer seemed good but we ended up another
£10 out of pocket when we couldn't use
existing offers with upgrades.
We liked the menu, location, and prices. We thought the pasta was a perfect texture and cook and that the sauces were very good but could have been more flavorful with additional seasoning. The cauliflower dish was a delicious addition to the menu; however, it was more of an appetizer size and was also a high percentage stalk in our serving. The pizza in the downstairs restaurant was great!
Had high hopes for this restaurant, the food was tasty but the service staff really let the place down. Once we arrived and were seated, it was 30 minutes before anyone came near us to give us menu's. Normally I would understand if the place was busy but it was very quiet. Once we received menu's we give the waiter our drinks order (our drinks never arrived to the table until they were clearing our finished starters , even through we asked several times about them). We were then left alone again for a long period of time before anyone came to take our food order. We ordered a starter and a main. The starter took some time to arrive but was very tasty and neither of us had ordered a hot starter the delay had not affected the food. But our main course took over an hour to arrive and was ice cold when it finally did. As we had tickets for the theatre and had already been in the restaurant for over 2 hours at this point, there was no time for the kitchen staff to re-do the main's, so ended up leaving the restaurant with only eating the starter and over 2 hours wasted.
Overall nice food, but needs proper management, the staff didn't seem to know what was what, we were not the only ones there with the same experience, the 2 tables next to us had the same issue with long waits and cold food.
I was satisfied with the starter- crispy squid was very tasty,good portion for a starter as well. However, when it came to main course- disappointing,it looked better on the menu the pasta was dry, barely had any salmon in it. Service was also lacking, only have been asked once how the food was only after when eating our main course, when asked for the bill the waitress just assumed I was gonna pay cash and placed the bill with a plate on our table and just walked off- had to wait 5 more minutes for her to realise I was paying by card for her to bring a card machine.
Decent place for after work dinner.
Food was good quality but I found the main size pasta portion to be a bit small. Drinks were fine and there was a decent selection of wines.
The decor looks good but the acoustics made it very hard to hear. I was practically shouting in order to have a conversation and order food.
Service was "ok". It was very quick and efficient which is fine for business meals but I felt the server was a bit pushy and seemed put out because we didn't want to have more than just mains.
Had a very enjoyable meal. The staff were really professional and friendly, the manager came to check on us and made us feel very welcome, stopping for a while to discuss a similar trip that my son and his friends had done. The food was quick and everyone was impressed with the quality. Would highly recommend
