Delicious Ugandan food. We tried a lot of different dishes. Everything was great. My absolute favorites were the groundnut stew (binyebwa/gnut) and whole fried tilapia with posho and matooke. My Dad was Ugandan and those were his favorite dishes, and they do them very well here. We also tried the goat and beef stews, chapati, samosas and goat tripe soup. If you like tripe, that soup is fantastic and the chapati with the stews are pure comfort food.
Great service and authentic Ugandan food. Created a wonderful atmosphere for my birthday celebration. Great value for money if you are going as a large group. We had a all you can eat buffet at a great price. They are currently refurbishing their decor but we had such a great time that we forgot about it. It was also wonderful to find out that they also support their local community with different initiatives. Thanks again for having us and we look forward to visiting again.
This place is an absolute gem ! Great quality of food and really good service :)
It was my first time in a Ugandan restaurant and I was really really impressed!
Take the food recommendations from the staff!
And finish the dinner with a lovely Ugandan ginger tea ☕
Prices may have gone up by a bit by the ones in the menu but still really affordable for what you get ????
Highly recommended!
Ordered food for a family event with delivery at 3pm. At 3.15 they hadn’t shown up and so I started to call them. After lots of me chasing them the food eventually turned up after 5.30.
The food tasted fine but I wouldn’t order from them again.
Very good tasty Ugandan dishes, with a good choice of vegetarian and meat dishes. Loved the peanut (Binyebwa) soup and greens (enva enndiirwa)
Been here three times. However my recent visit was incredible and blew me and my friends away. The chapatis were out of this world. To be honest, everything was really good. We had to also order more food to take home. The service was also really great.
I’ve never tried Ugandan food but we were very pleasantly surprised about the taste, price and quantity. The peanut stew in particular with the roti was so savoury and filling. There’s not much ambiance but might have been the time we were there. Great place to try something new.
I absolutely looovveeeeeee this place. The food was amazing. I ate till my stomach wanted to pop out but I still wanted more. I had Ugandan music on for the atmosphere, and I loved it. They served us with big smiles and were very welcoming. I felt very at home. Definitely go there with a few hours to spare so you can eat without any rush. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ though the fish was really huh for one person. Just one fish is already a family portion.
