Food was good with full of flavour. Salad was just shredded cabbage. No seasoning. The guy there was very friendly and served us quickly. Great for a quick bite and, if you can brace the cold, there is an outdoors sitting area.

Jamaican Grill House makes the best food in the area. It's our favorite local restaurant. The grilled fish are off the charts good. The oxtail, ribs, and curried goat are all outstanding. So is everything else, really. Our staples are the fritters, plantains, a beef patty, and then whatever main dishes we're getting with rice, peas (bean), and cabbage-based salad. (Add lemon and olive oil to the salad.) It's a small restaurant with only outdoor seating, so we usually get takeaway, but it's outstanding, and the guy who runs it is really nice. We go about once a week. Highly recommend.
(Note: I don't usually review restaurants here, but I think most people don't know this place and it's worth drawing attention to. It's our favorite local restaurant, they're super nice, and I hope they flourish so I can keep eating their great food.)
I had the pleasure of eating here yesterday and was blown away by this hidden gem. The food was out of this world, I have searched for 10 years to get decent Jamaican food since moving from London and finally found it. The cheif was nice enough to say hello and made us feel at home, followed by the owner who was a complete legend. The owner took the time to tell us about how the food is made and what he uses; his passion is no doubt the result of the amazing product. Long story short, be sure to give this place a try, you won't regret it.
Best Jamaican food I’ve ever had! We got the ribs and jerk chicken as a main course with rice and salad, and goat curry on the side. All of it was amazing. Dave also gave us great service and some hot sauce that was the spiciest we had in a while and also delicious. Anyone in this area needs to try Jamaican grill house, you’re missing out if you don’t!
True, authentic delicious Caribbean food. By FAR the best anywhere around. U MUST try! Fully recommend the jerk chicken and oxtail. Oh and the curry chicken is the BEST I’ve ever had
So this is my first time trying jamaican food. I don't have the best tolerance for spicy food but I will tell you now it is so worth the fiery doom your mouth endures for how exquisite this food is myself and my partner enjoyed it he absolutely loves it and I would absolutely reccomend to everyone because this is definitely worth it hat's off to the chefs your food is incredible the rice and the beef the jerk chicken aswell is incredible!!
I have been waiting for a Caribbean takeaway to open near me for years. I stumbled on this hidden gem! Very tasty food. I'm looking forward to the delivery service starting up soon.
