Not a very pleasant experience when we went for lunch today! We were absolutely starving - and we saw they have gluten free options on the menu! We ordered and had to wait for ages for food to arrive only to realise they messed up the gluten free option - well they did make it right next time...! The food quantity was less when compared to what we paid and it wasn't warm ! Generally unclean tables as well !
I used to love this place, with their tasty avocado toast and maple bacon accompanied by a blue mountain latte however the amount has reduced. My toast were so small that I finished could finish them in three, four bites. It was also so thin, I feel a bit ripped off. I can’t fully complain as the people are wonderful, the atmosphere was amazing and the taste is still good. I would suggest to pop by for a cup of the blue mountain coffee but I can’t suggest the avocado toast anymore. As someone who used to rave about the toast, I was very disappointed today and don’t think I will come back again too quickly for it. Such a shame.
Service was very slow, with my coffee arriving long after my food and even then only when I reminded the staff. The highlight was I discovered that a Caesar Chicken Sandwich needn't really have anything to do with a Caesar salad (see the picture below).For those in the world who really want chicken, bacon and egg on a roll, but want to tell people that you had a healthy lunch with lots of greens, this is the choice for you!!
My son and I popped in to compliment our visit to Kingston and the shopping centre as we had never visited the cafe before. At first we thought it was a bit pricey but then we found out why. The food and drinks were all on point. They tasted amazing, were cooked and prepared perfectly and could tell that the ingredients used were of greta quality being able to taste every single one used. The service was quick, polite and professional. If we ever get the opportunity then this is definitely somewhere we will visit again.
Went shopping for a present for my birthday with mum who is now 80 and doesn’t get out as much as she once did. She decided to treat me to lunch. She ordered a tuna melt and I had a chicken and chilli wrap. She was so disappointed and fed up. She said she couldn’t taste tuna or cheese. And mine was just slimy. Really dreadful. I don’t think we’ll be going again any time soon.
My husband and I visited here for only drink ???? it was so hot and our little one was not in good mood, we stepped in. Not busy place.
I had strawberries ???? milk shake !!! This absolutely great. Specially when you need sugar and cold drink ???? my husband ordered iced latte. Coffee tastes was good ???? and staff are friendly. And place was clean !!!
Just next to toilet so it was convenient ???????? but I think they don’t have AC so it was not hot to have hot food. We will try next time for food.
I do recommend to try milk shakes ☀️☀️
We discovered this lovely cafe today nestled in Bentalls shopping centre , the menu was fantastic very easy to read no frills tasty breakfast/ brunch options. My son loved the pancakes. All beit busy the staff were ver accommodating. Recommend the hot chocolate very decadent .
Lovely place. Got variety of food and a few cakes and coffees as well. We tried some vegetarian toasties which was delicious. Coffee was good. Atmosphere is nice, quiet chill and relaxed. Staff are friendly and helpful. The price is fine. Not very expensive. First time in this branch which turned into a good experience. Would go back again.
