Food was good, portion size spot on. polite staff to take orders and serve. Not sure why it has bad reviews as it would be above average in quality and lower in price than back home in Oxfordshire.
Went here tonight whilst on holiday and very unimpressed with the whole experience from start to finish. Went in to order and was told we needed to give a menu number, the lady behind the counter was very uninterested in taking our order, kept making us wait while she answered the phone. She was behind a sheet of very damaged plastic and could barely hear what she was saying and visibility was poor the plastic was dirty looking and very scratched, we received our food after about 25 minutes, the reception/waiting area was filthy and unpleasant. The food was nice not amazing and the portion size was very poor for the price we brought 4x meals and to be honest we all thought it looked like we had ordered a child’s meal. Shame as this was our final evening in Cornwall, Cornwall is an amazing place. This Chinese is not. I would recommend going elsewhere.
Always a great tasting takeaway. Been coming here for years, and travel from Hayle. The prawns are always clean and cooked perfectly. Tasty fried onions and noodles. We get the ginger prawn chow mein and sweet and sour. Amazing in our opinion. This is now our go to Chinese takeaway following consistent quality meals. Thanks.
Got takeaway on Sunday evening, waited 20mins well worth it ???? £27 for 2 people good value ????????more tastier than back home (Kent) friendly polite lady served us, i heard in summer months waiting time double or more, but that to be expected ????
The food was very tasty and we enjoyed what we had. We only had to wait 15 minutes so not too long. My only issue for not giving 5 stars is the price. A lot more expensive than my Chinese at home and I've never had to buy prawn crackers before normally they are given free
Nasty, never should of used. i was working, wanted chinese . so ordered at 10.15 pm. after i ordered i noticed the floor was very sticky, then looked around. the place was dirty. but i thought maybe its been real busy. the food was one of the worse i had eaten, thinking that i would regret it later, possibly not being in a good way in the morning. i will not use this chinese again. as if the front is sticky and dirty , god only knows how bad the back will be. also noticed on the way out only 3 stars for food hygine. says it all.
Looking at the reviews how is this place allowed to sell food. I tried their chips last night I had to remove them from my mouth. They should pay us to eat their food simple as that.
Visiting on holiday. Plus points are the food was very good (the main thing), but we had to wait quite a while (over 1/2 hour). Think the guy was on his own taking orders and cooking. Also the food agency rating was not displayed (well not that I could see) but on checking is only a 3/5 which is not great.
Would go again as long as I had the time fir the wait.
