Best KPortal Reviews
We came here for breakfast, because it did pancakes which is what the children wanted.
It was friendly, and staff were helpful. The food was quite nice, although I'd say the pancakes were a bit small to be "American style".
Would come back.
We were looking for an alternative to fast food premises with our grandchildren. They serve all the usual favourites here but with an interesting concept, diner style. We loved it. The place was exceptionally quiet, so you do wonder if you have made the 'right choice'.
The milkshake was according to our grandson 'the best ever', and although enormous he polished it off.
Our food choices were hot and plentiful. Even kids dippers were fillet chicken, very surprising.
The downside, a little pricey but you have a nice view and character so it seems fair.
Recently visited here and was quite disappointed after paying nearly £40 for two milkshakes and two meals. I wouldn’t mind so much but I had a Coke float and they didn’t use original Coke. I ordered a wrap and something called “love me tenders” and both of them were awful. The meals were between £12 and £14 each and honestly, I’d expect more. the wrap was made very cheaply with the cheapest ingredients possible. The “love me tenders” were literally four nuggets four onion rings and a handful of chips and this was £14! In my opinion this is not suitable to be an American diner, it’s clear to me they are using cheap ingredients and charging the highest price possible. It’s a shame because it seems like this place used to be really nice looking at the other reviews however, this really wasn’t the case when we were there.
Large portions, good service, lovely food and a friendly team. Offered to serve our one year olds dish first so I could feed him before mine came out. Which meant I got to eat a hot meal! Would highly recommend.
Was walking along the harbour and came across this little gem! There were 16 of us. At first we were going to have their scone and tea cake deal. But half went for full on meals.
The service was really nice and genuine. The food was delicious. I had the wrap which is very different for what I would normally go for. But it didn’t disappoint and was lovely.
Would eat here again.
Had a late lunch in here, staff were very nice.
My daughter has a thing where she has to use her own straw and accidently left it there.
I opted for the cream tea that comes with 2 scone's, as you can see by my pictures there wasn't enough cream for all scone, I was a little disappointed, but I'd eaten enough at that point.
If you need to use the toilet, prepare for a mountain climb up some stairs.
Loved it here. Meals were braught out quickly and we're piping hot everything was cooked perfectly and the milkshake was naughty
We had a nice little English breakfast and cappuccino here.
Food was good and not bad value, coffee not included in the price though.
I wish cafe's/diners/restaurants would provide jam to have with your toast, like they do in the US.
Overall a good breakfast, excellent coffee and friendly staff.
