Really not sure what to make of this pharmacy. Sometimes (and rarely) they’re good, although in my experience most of the time they are truly hopeless. When I’m on 4 or 8 weekly prescriptions I don’t expect them to be ordered 5 or 9-10 weeks apart. I’m sure I’m not the only one this happens to, but I don’t get why they can’t order on time where it clearly seems to work for some people (according to some of the reviews on here). The latest story was my prescription was ordered early enough (it was) and then sat in some tray for nearly 2 weeks. Apparently and allegedly, not all the meds were available. I walked in to collect (they hadn’t called to say it was ready, so was already a week overdue). They then spent the next 15 mins or so dispensing and then told me that there had been delivery delays on some of the medications. Yeah right. They had only printed the labels off when I walked in so anything missing had not been ordered. I wasn’t born yesterday… In my experience, when prescriptions are rec’d the labels are printed off and the dispensing takes place. At that point they know if they are short of meds. Using the (unused) labels is the trigger for ordering. It’s not rocket science. Why I always seem to have problems is simply behind me.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I've had in a pharmacy. I booked a booster vaccine for myself as it is a travel requirement for where I am travelling to in 2 days time. I arrive for my appointment, waited 15 minutes only to be told the pharmacist cannot vaccinate me as he hasn't got any vaccinations booked today for the Pzifer vaccine and cannot just do 1 dose as it would waste NHS resources. The NHS app won't let me book another vaccine as it believes I have this one booked and I cannot cancel it on the app. He wasn't helping in finding an alternative and sent me away - now I am stuck, cannot travel to India to see my grandma who I haven't seen in 5 years and there are no walk in appointments available anywhere. What do I pay National Insurance for? I understand you don't want to waste resources, so why not cancel my appointment in advance of me taking a half day off work to be here, only to be turned away?
Best pharmacy in central Slough. Polite and knowledgeable staff. Always on time with repeat prescriptions and if the medicine required is not in stock, they'll order it and it arrives super quick. Never insanely busy like the High Street pharmacies. Highly recommended
Horrible customer service. I set up an appointment through the NHS for a flu jab and I got permission at work for it. I arrived punctually and they just said "the pharmacist is not here this week, just walk in next week". No apologies, I just lost my time. All I could do is spend more time reporting this to NHS.
A great support for the local community. Especially at the time of supporting families and being accommodating to provide medicine whenever they need it.
Appointment for covid booster was a great experience with expert support of phamacist. Recently moved to the area and am so impressed with the level of support here - thank you!
