Short, simple, but absolutely beautiful. Every town should have a trail like this one. Don't get me wrong, Skye was amazing, but this little trail on this little town is a hidden gem.
Great spot for parking up for lovely short waterfall walk and return through the woods to break up a journey. Easy climb down onto the rocks for the able bodied.
Beautiful forest walk and the falls are lovely. The summer house is very cool and has the best view of the falls.
Don't be fooled by the pay meter there. Parking is free, but you can make a donation to the council should you be so inclined. Lovely walk round the woods past the stone summer house with great views of the river and falls.
We went along for a walk and were pleasantly surprised..there is beautiful forest walks with loads to see in the area, a stone circle, bridges, ancient wells and the falls. You can also walk down to summer house and get beautiful views of the river and falls.
Plenty of car park space and able to walk around the area...the standing stones are impressive.
Great car park only two disabled bays though but there is plenty of room as there are no marked bays bay toilets are good but I do have my own in the van the little local shop is great and not bad prices the is a little stone monument in the field next to the xar park and the forest just round the bend is beautiful
