It's a nice place to stop on the way.

There is no actual trail,

We stayed there for 25 minutes.

The place itself is very nice, with the castle overlooking a river with a sunked ship.

There are no toilet facilities or trash bins.

This is more a place to stop on the way and continue.

Blink and you miss the turning to this place! I forgot how small the Scottish castles are. I’d call these look out towers compared to the Welsh castles I’ve visited. But it’s beautiful regardless and worth the trip.

If you want to see an old castle that is in ruins, this one should do. It's kind of small but it's neat to look inside. They have a fence all the way around it but you can see almost everything. Definitely worth stopping by if you're driving near it.

Ruins of the castle but hardly anything left. A complete disappointment of a place. Not really worth the visit. There is a lake behind with a fishing boat that is half sunk.

We stayed at Glengarry Castle nearby and there is history that links both castles. Very interesting and good to read up a bit about it prior to going.

Great little castle to visit 8f your in the area. It is a ruin and fenced off for safety. But still interesting. Free oarking fir a few cars near it. And a nice woodland walk near the water.

You coukd also call in St the nearby tea rooms if you wanted too.

This was an unplanned stop along the route from Oban to Inverness. Small parking area at base of ruins.

It shares a road w/ Invergarry B&B, and is with the very short drive up the road to see that as well.

Really interesting spot to stop and look at the castle. Unfortunately it is fenced off so you cant get very close, but it is a cool thing to see. No crowds. Take your time. Waunder down tk the water and see the sunken boat. Good spot to get out and stretch your legs!
