We had a very tasty lunch here! The food and service were great. It was a windy, rainy day and a warm meal and beverage by the fire was the perfect place to be!
We sat next to the chimney, ordered a vegetarian breakfast and tuna baguette. The food is fresh and tastes really nice. Service was exceptional. Very welcoming.
Fantastic place to eat and is dog friendly too.
The steak pie is the best I've tasted for a long time. The onion ring were crispy and the gammon with pineapple was beautiful.
To make it even better it is dog friendly and out fur baby was inside at the table with us
Excellent place for lunch or a celebration. They are also dog friendly. The food is delicious and plentyful.
As a family we have also come here for birthdays and ordered afternoon tea which is an experience I thoroughly recommend. 5/5 every time. (Remember, as everything is made fresh, they need at least 24 HR notice.)

First time visit. I had one of the best macaroni cheeses ever. I opted for a sprinkle of black pudding on top and the whole dish was delicious. Staff were very welcoming and the service was friendly and efficient. My three companions were equally impressed with their meals. We will be back!
Nice cafe, great food, friendly staff, went on a cold wet day cafe was nice n warm which was lovely.
Great port in a storm after a wet walk, very welcoming, dog and child friendly. The waitress was lovely, brought the dog water and offered her biscuits and brought colouring books over for the children. Lovely food and good hot coffee.
If you want to experience self-entitled dog owners and an unwelcoming atmosphere, this is the place to visit. Best avoided if you don't like having a big dog in a small space brushing your table with its tail while it's owner attempts to defend its actions.
Staff were useless in trying to defuse an indefensible, unhygienic situation. Left immediately.

Lots of assumptions there in your reply. I certainly wasn't rude to my companion, ( not my wife) but I was short with your ignorant dog-owning customer. My companion was totally in agreement with my course of action.
The large dog was brushing up against our table and it's tail was sweeping across the surface. So you are totally wrong on this point.
Suffice to say that I shall leave it there.
