Best KPortal Reviews
What a excellent experience. I honestly cannot fault this establishment. Impeccable restaurant, plenty of attentive and polite staff. The food was excellent. Seemed to be a issue with our bottle of wine and the waiter immediately replaced it. They do add a 10% service charge to the bill, which was well deserved. We left an additional £10 tip. Just had to deduct one star, because everyone who left before us had someone open the door and say goodbye, we got neither !!
This is the first restaurant we saw, the staff were very welcoming and attentive.
The restaurant has very lovely decor.
The food was amazing!
Highly recommend.
Easily the best restaurant in Worthing. Been coming here for years and the food is outstanding, the fattest prawn toast I have ever had! They do special salt and pepper prawns without heads and tails or batter for our family that I regularly dream of. The service is wonderful, couldn’t do enough to help you and make great recommendations.
Lovely meal here for 6 of us. Great service, lovely place. Attentive staff. Very helpful. Clean. Well laid out too. We were impressed n defo a revisit.
We were recommended to visit this venue so went for our anniversary. Starters were great, but then the duck came, it was very dry not hot and not freshly cooked and we couldn't eat it. The main course selection was OK but the sweet and sour chicken just had hard tiny little lumps of meat in it never had sweet and sour like it before. Overall any of the meat products had not been freshly prepared and it showed. We had 2x set menu and a bottle of house wine and cost £84 not great value at all for poor quality food, the only saving grace was the service.
We have been meaning to go to Imperial China for a long time, and finally on a sunny Sunday went for lunch. The first impression was of a beautiful room, such that I immediately felt "I want to spend time here" .High ceilinged, on a corner with many windows to allow light to flood in. Exceptionally well chosen colour scheme (no flock paper or garish landscapes of the Gorges of the Yellow River). The tables with bright white napery and sparkling glasses.
Something about the table arrangement that makes it seem intimate - except probably the traditional large round tables for joyous culinary celebrations in the centre.
Absolutely delightful service and delicious, seriously delicious food. The large menu is classic Cantonese - I didn't notice any other regional dishes - cooked to perfection. Total happiness, and I shall come back again and again, maybe even simply pop in for some Dim Sum. Thank you!
Mixed up my orders. Ordered for the beef and mixed veggies sauce. Got this beef thing with zero sauce. The chow mein is bland and too dry. No cutlery in the package, like am I supposed to eat with my hands?
I’m not impressed at all.
Ps: I had to go beg for the cutlery in the pictures
To begin with, it is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of visiting, we were served by a very attentive and friendly waiter, Andy, his recommendations were truly exquisite! As a Chef that I am, I recommend it 100% without a doubt I will repeat it????
