Irene Turner, We had an experience with this truck in atrocious conditions over Shap, we overtook him and then we came to a 50MPH sign, we slowed down in the middle lane, next moment he is less than a metre from my rear bumper and in those conditions he didn't have a hope in stopping and would have wiped us out. I have spoken to the firm, I told them that the truck needs recalibrating as he was doing over 60MPH when it shouldn't be able to do more than 56MPH. They tried fob me off saying he must have been going downhill, I said he was doing the same on the flat and uphill. Their tone changed when I said I was an ex trucker and I knew what I was talking about. I also told them I was going to report them to the FHA, and DVLA.
This driver needs to be taken off the road ASAP.
Managed to book me in at short notice and get the part and fix my car the very next day. Quick and efficient as well as good value for money.
Cannot believe the horrendous driving last Sunday 15 th Jan just before Castlecary about 12 noon. unbelievable tailgating of a car driver. I was on my own and couldn’t take the number. 2 vehicles in convoy. Atrocious. You are a disgrace to allow your drivers to behave like that. Your name is also a disgrace.
