Very nice fish and chips. Prompt service with a smile. We'll definitely go again.
Came in at 8.30 on the dot, service was shocking let alone the coffee. Coffee looked like rusty radiator water and tastes very similar. Asked for a pump of caramel but didn’t get any. Tried to charge £9 when the two coffees were only £6.40. Don’t come get your morning coffee from here, make it at home.
We went here for lunch at a friend's suggestion who is local to the W-on-T area. Cafe located in a mostly residential shopping parade, so easy to find carparking ????️ nearby.
We were informed that the place had only recently been taken over by new people. The service was good and I think that in time they will get much better. They were kind enough to let us bring a birthday cake for one in our group and sing happy birthday.
The Hunters is spacious inside, although it could do with a bit more styling. I would recommend if you're in the Stoke Road area.
Full breakfast and two smalls were nothing to write home about I’m afraid. I’ve had much much nicer breakfasts elsewhere locally. Coffee was tepid and weak and nearly got charged for it despite it being free with the breakfast. The lady who served us was lovely, very friendly and welcoming though. Very disappointed.
I live near this place and I decided to pop in and have a look around. The inside looks stunning and the staff were very welcoming and the till person had a warm smile. Now onto the food I never in my have had such a perfect poached cod in my life, and the chips were non greasy and crispy. For my daughter I bought the kids cods bites which she loved.Overall everything was 10/10 will 100% recommend to all my friends.
Great local fish and chip place with really lovely new owners. These fish and chips are as good as you'll find in the area with excellent homemade mushy peas and tartar sauce. Large child friendly restaurant to eat in or take away. Try them out!
Tonight had haddock & chips (takeaway). The staff were welcoming, friendly & polite and the whole place has a good feel about it. Now onto the food. OMG 10/10 these guys smashed it. Huge haddock cooked to perfection, chips were non greasy, tasty and great portion size. Try them out !!! I would recommend and going back asap to sample the rest of the menu.
We had Dads 90th birthday party here today in the back room/garden. Everything was just perfect. Very good communication prior to event, and nice buffet including catering very well for special dietary requirements. Really nice - Thank you Hunters!
