As 2023 draws to a close, just a quick thank you to the staff at HH which is my 94-yr old father's favourite place for breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake. Always a lovely welcome, great food and special mention to Liv who remembers my Dad's order, which delights him. With all best wishes for 2024.
I had the pleasure of visiting this place, and I must say it was a delightful experience. This charming establishment offers a combination of fruit picking, farm shop and a tearoom, creating a wonderful atmosphere that showcases the best of local produce and homemade delights.
The tearoom, located adjacent to the farm shop, is a cozy and inviting space. The decor is rustic yet elegant, with comfortable seating and charming touches that create a warm and welcoming ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive.
The overall experience at Hungersheath Farm Shop & Tea Room was exceptional. It's a delightful destination where you can truly appreciate the flavours of the region and enjoy a memorable dining experience in a charming setting.
Very nice farm tea room. Friendly happy staff. Good range of food and lovely cosy atmosphere. Tables outside as well. Can also pick your own strawberries. Sadly farm shop wasn’t open but yea rooms are excellent
Went for breakfast which was very tasty and good value with quality bacon and sausage. served piping hot and not long wait though we were first in.
only improvement suggested is to have a larger extraction fan fitted as cooking smells tend to fill the restaurant. Would recommend to others.
Very nice and friendly.
The others in my group all had a ham and chutney sandwich whilst I had the "hot meat sandwich".
The hot meat of the day was aparently beef so I said fine and went with that. It was nice but not what I expected. It wasn't hot for a start. It was clearly fresh and carved off a joint for the Sunday roast but it had cooled down and might as well have just been a generic sliced beef sandwich.
Fentimans, fruitshoot or fresh fruit drinks which suited us but if you're with a child or someone who wants a more generic brand then you're having water.
Lovely staff though. And looked pretty.
The breakfast at Hungers Heath is always good, but today was outstanding. Lovely orange coloured eggs, tasty, black pudding and sausage. Thoroughly delicious.
Tea room closes at 3, not 6 as on the Internet, farm shop none existent
Had a cooked breakfast here. Reasonably priced and tastes good. Child friendly with high chairs supplied. Staff were great too
