Fell upon this place and was lucky enough to get a table for 6 without a booking it advance.
Lovely decor inside.
Friendly staff.
Tasty food and good size portions we had the roast my family had the lamb and beef and I had the pescatarian roast of seabass.
All served with mashed and roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots and swede, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding & stuffing.
We all enjoyed our food.
Had a meal before the panto at The Plaza.
We went for tapas starters and then most of us enjoyed steak. Cooked to perfection and the accompanying sauces were amazing. Will go again.
Took my in-laws here on a whim, and so glad we did! It was a quiet Monday night but the staff were so lovely, the chef even kept coming out personally to check on us. The food was outstanding! Will definitely be coming back ????
After a different day out in Stockport we decided to try this place for something to eat and I'm so glad we did it was gorgeous.
Hubby to be had prawns in sweet chilli sauce to start which he said was cooked perfectly.
Mains: I had the steak and ale pie with triple cooked chips and peas, it was absolutely gorgeous, the meat and pastry just melted in the mouth. The triple cooked chips were perfect too lovely and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Hubby to be had the pepper rolled steaks in a creamy stilton sauce I had a mouthful and can confirm that it was absolute perfection the sauce complimented the steak, you could taste the stilton but it wasn't over powering.
I had the apple crumble to finish, lovely crumble mix, apples were sweet custard was smooth easily one of the best crumbles I've had out in a while.
Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and fabulous staff
If your in the area and want amazing food at reasonable prices this is the place to go.
I am DJ at Huffys and absolutely love it. The people are such a nice fun loving bunch and the atmosphere is brilliant.
Bring on the good times
We got the Sunday Roast sharing platter with 3 meats, and it was perfect. Such good value aswell, the best roast I’ve had. Lovely decorations inside aswell, and all the staff were really nice. The chef even came out to check we were happy with everything. Definitely coming back
We were greeted by two people drinking in the foyer - who turned out to be members of staff.
We were seated near the fireplace - next to unused speakers that had been pushed into the corner, on seating with a huge hole, showing the foam inside.
The staff were pleasant enough, however, our waitress’s clothes were not particularly clean - nor were the menus. We then watched as a member of staff put her contouring makeup on using the mirror behind the bar optics! ????????♀️
At this point - had the weather not been of biblical proportions with hail and rain - we would not have stayed.
We got wafts of ‘weed’ several times during the course of our visit.
The toilets weren’t particularly clean - and the hand dryer didn’t work. So in the absence of hand/paper towels - we had to resort to loo roll.
The food was ok - especially for the price - but we would definitely not return if we were to visit Stockport again!
Delicious Sunday roast , couple share platters available and reasonably priced too, all food was great, very nice setting. Would recommend booking in advance as limited tables.
