Great Chinese takeaway, I had another regular one before this one and just one order made me jump ship. This has been my go-to for 2 years now. The price is always great and the size of the food is insane. Value for money.
This has always been our number 1 Chinese but since it’s been take over by new owners it has gone really downhill and will never order here again, the rice is so mushy with no flavour and the sweet and sour sauce is just a pot of vinegar with food colouring!
Was lovely when first opened last summer. We haven’t been for a few months, but prices have risen and the quality of has declined massively. Dry chicken, drys ribs & strange taste/coating on the chow mein noodles. Sorry but you’ve lost our custom…
I fully supported the takeaway as the quality of food, ingredients & prices at first were perfect then delivery increased without warning and the quality of the food declined! I personally recommended huadu to everyone I knew that enjoyed Chinese food & even distributes the menus locally however for the 2nd disappointing time I will no longer do so! Chicken skewers were inedible, ribs were dry & tasteless, fillet beef was fatty so I threw it away so we were left with chips and sauce that cost us £27.59! Sorry guys but unless you go back to your original chef or supplier I feel you may lose a lot of custom if you haven’t already ????
Having travelled across Asia and also eaten at and had numerous Chinese meals/takeaways in the UK I can happily say that Huadu is the best Chinese Take Away I have ever tasted. I am confident in saying it is by far and away the best and nothing else really comes close.
They clearly use only the freshest and best ingredients giving the most authentic taste. The food is always hot when delivered and is of the highest quality and at a very reasonable price.
I have tried many other Chinese take aways in Chesterfield and if truth be told none are in the same league as Huadu. I can only hope it is here to stay because if not it is a travesty.
Top tip - Lamb in Mongolian style is absolutely delicious and not seen in any other local Chinese.

Amazing! I am a bit of a 'set in my ways' kind of person and I had been using the same chinese restaurant since I was a kid (33 now) and I liked what I knew, however, during Covid my 'regular' closed down and never reopened. So, through necessity, I tried Huadu and I am instantly converted! The meal was outstanding - clearly freshly made with fresh ingredients; very reasonable price; delivered in just under 45 minutes - as they said it would be. Very impressed! Give these guys a go.
Excellent for both quality of food & delivery service. The quality of the food is the best we have ever had from a takeaway. The delivery time was 45 mins to one hour when we ordered but we ordered at a peak time and it arrived in 45 mins. Its slightly more expensive than other takeaway's (in our opinion) but more than worth it. Definitely our go to Chinese takeaway for the future ???? (I'm sure the beef in my chow mein was sirloin - it was so tender & tasty)
