Had cod & chips & scraps, curry sauce, mushy peas, then fishcake, cheese, corned beef savoury,& sausage, all was delicious.will b back
My first time trying Howe's gluten free fish and chips, but will it be my last...absolutely not! Lovely crispy batter which stayed that way until I got home and throughly enjoyed it. The friendly staff even made me my own portion of GF scraps. Scraps or scrapings, call them what you like but from Howe's I call them delicious. The fish itself was of good quality too and the chips were just perfect chip shop chips. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very friendly staff, good atmosphere.
AMAZING fish & chips
Cooked to order, fried in beef dripping. Best fish and chips I've ever had, by some way.
Cannot pick fault with this little Bishop Auckland gem of a Chippy.
Freshly made and very tasty Fish & Chips ... also pretty good value ????
Excellent, friendly service ... Great banter by the lovely people behind the counter.
I go here now and again for my lunch and I've never had any reason to complain. Their chips are just great with some scraps on top. Iv not had anything else like fish or pie from there so I couldn't comment on those but I will keep going back for my chips at lunchtime and thats for sure :). The staff are very friendly and I've always had a pleasant service when ordering. Nice place ????
